Maha yelped at the sound of Skye's voice. Sneaky little devil.
"Seriously, Pix. What was that?" Then she addressed the stealthy Skye, "It was steam, I'm pretty sure. It might have been waterbending."

A small commotion is heard on the other side of the ship! There, two large (but not unattractive) Fire Nation guards have in their grasp a very frazzled-looking Luthien. Dressed in lightweight robes with red and blue threads woven throughout, Luthien looks around like a wild and captive animal, her hair down and slightly frizzy from the salty sea air. She wears a mask of confusion and annoyance, until she spots her friends... "Maha! Bagpipe! Ah, ok... *now* I see what's going on! You know, you didn't have to kidnap me - I would have come along willingly. Though, I must admit... I don't mind the escorts you arranged to bring me here," Luthien remarks, with a sly look to her friends and a playful wink to the guards. Ever the professionals, the guards blush slightly but show no emotion, though Lu knows her work here is done. Now, it's time to party! "So where's the best tea on this ship?"

Pixar stared into her empty cup, embarrassed at all the questions. "Ah, a combination of cartoon physics, steambending, a heart full of Zutara love?"
Yeah, lame excuse. Luckily, she was saved from any further explanation (ha, probably not) by Luthien's arrival.
"Hey, Lu! Nice for you to finally catch up!" she greeted cheerfully. "Nice outfit. Best tea, you say? Why, all tea is the best tea!" She cupped her mouth in her hand, whispering not-so-sneaily, "Stay away from the fire flakes unless you're in for some serious steambending."

Maha ran to join Pixar and Luthien.
"Lu! Pixar just blew steam out of her ears!!!" She absently looked for Pecan in Lu's entourage. "Why are you glaring at me Pix?"

Waggling an accusing finger in Maha's direction, Pixar stated, "Oh, I always knew you were never one for secrets, Maha! How dare you."
And with that, Pixar retreated to a secluded corner of the ship to sulk.

"Wow. I thought the steam was cool." Maha looked sadly after Pixar. "I'm going to cheer her up!"
Giving lu a quick hug and grabbing a drum from one of the musicians Maha sat down in front of her sulking friend and played.
"Pixaaaaarrrr!" The singing was passable, but by no means worth listening to. "Your ear steam was really awwwwwesoooommmme! We were reeeeeeeeally complimentingggggggg youuuuuuu! .... what?"

"Maha," said Chibi, coming up behind them, "I'll give you *two* copper pieces to quit singing." Ducking the drum aimed at her head, Chibi laughed and ran back to the buffet table. "Didn't you say there'd be cake?" she said over her shoulder, as she grabbed JJ's hands and begged him to dance. "Just one waltz, please?" The revered firebender tried to decline, protesting that if he stepped on her feet, his embarrasment might cause him to pull a Pixar and shoot steam out of his ears, thereby endangering their fellow dancers on he ship's deck. "Nonsense! The evening is cool enough to dissipate it, and besides, I'm sure you're a smooth dancer anyway," she said, dragging him onto the dance floor, oblivious to his embarrassment and protestations of discomfort. "Now, one-two-three, one-two-three... that's it! See, you're great!" assured Chibi, as they twirled on the floor and she waved to lu, BP, Pixar and Skye. "Has anyone else arrived yet? And what food did they bring? I'm starving!" Chibi called over JJ's shoulder.

Iroh eyed his old friend J.J. with obvious envy. Now there was a woman he could dance with. But he had been supervising the tea brewing when she was looking for a dance partner and he'd missed his chance ... for now.
"Can I have some tea?" Maha interrupted his thoughts.
"No." He said and went back to his leaves.

Chibi looked around for Iroh next, but when she saw him, he seemed to be occupied with maha instead, so she went in search of Piandao, whom she knew to be an exceptional dancer. Needing some tips on the finer points of the bolero, she looked all over each of the ship's decks until she saw him chatting in a corner with Lo and Li. "Ah, well, he's busy, too," she said to herself. "Ursa's gonna be mad when she comes on and sees maha talking with her newly buff man. Wonder if I can get some of that good tea before it all gets spilt. Hey, Sokka!" she said, as the Water Tribe boy passed. "Better tell Zuko to hide if his mom shows up. She ain't gonna be happy." ;D

Luthien eyed Sokka as he passed by her on the way to deliver TBC's message. "Hey Sokka," she called, "nice warrior's wolftail!" Sokka was appreciative of the comment, happy Lu didn't call it a ponytail like *ahem* a certain sister of his. "Thanks," Sokka said with a raise of his eyebrow. "Mind if I touch it?" Lu asked, and with a nod from Sokka she patted the growth of brown hair tied at the top of the Water Tribe boy's head. "Wow, it's so soft! You must condition," she marveled. "Well, yeah..." Sokka said, smiling a bit. He knew he was a hit with the ladies. "I've still got it!" he thought to himself. "Well Lu, I'd better head on over to Zuko to pass on the message. Nice seein' ya!" As he walked away, Sokka remarked to himself, "Yeah, I'm the man." Later he would have to compare notes with Iroh.

Liz felt guilty for being so late but put a smile on nonetheless. She laughed at Luthien's flirty antics with Sokka and then looked over to Maha singing... Liz averted her eyes. She grabbed a glass of punch and watched the party while the cool breeze played against her face.

Pixar, who had watched Luthien's little episode with Sokka's hair, decided to perk up and bound away to find Zuko.
Upon locating him, she screeched to a halt in front of the much-taller-than-her teen and immediately began to ramble on about the randomest of things.
"Ohmygoodness Zuko, hi! Is your hair as lovely as Sokka's? It probably is, which is good, because Sokka's is ah-mazing. So you and Katara? That's pretty hot. Haha, hot. Get it? Hot? You're a...fire...ahem. Right."

On the other side of the ship, two guard board the ship with a slightly flustered Surreal in tow. After a moment or so on the ship, the two males look at her and give her a small smile and a wink before releasing their grips on her arm. The newly freed Surreal, unsure of her new surroundings, looks around and soon spot the rest of the shipbash's attendees.
"Wow! I would have never of guessed that those two would take me to such a nice party! Even though we got lost on the way." Surreal said with a grin. but adding a hint of sarcasm to the last part. She gave the guards a look causing them to blush, knowing that is was their fault that she was late to the party.
"Well, who's up for some partying?" Surreal belted out as she grabbed herself some of Iroh's famous tea, and giggled as she watched Pixar and a fairly confused Zuko converese.

"South Pole!!!!" Screeched Maha causing all activity on the deck to stop. No wonder it was so freezing cold. "Next stop Hot Cocoa Express!" She raced to her cabin and grabbed her parka which, although it was designed by Donatella Versace still made her look like a purple walrus. Back on deck the firebenders were lighting braziers to warm the guests as the ship approached the glacier.

Surreal rushed over to the edge of the deck to see the view of the gorgeous glaciers.
"Wow, it's really pretty here, but I probably should get my parka, too." And with that said, Surreal went back to her cabin and rummaged through her luggage, eventually pulling out a dark blue parka .
"Ahh," she said as she returned to the deck,"Now, I am ready for some hot cocoa, Maha!"
