Hold on, both Pein and Konan know Jiraiya, Pein was Jiraiya's student, maybe Konan as well, but she doesn't refer to him as sensei, Pein does.

WHAT THE CRAP?!?!?!?! IS HE YONDAIME?! But maby Jairaya had more students, but no more were brought up, so no one really knows I guess. But that does make since that they would cover there identities, but Jairaya still recognized Konan, so the most likely looks the same since he would not have had a chance to see her new identity if she changed. *holds head* Im thinking to much.

Pein is not Yondaime, Katie-senpai. Pein has orange hair and many piercings - they are not the same. I don't really know much about Jiraiya teaching Pein and Konan, except for what I've read off of Wikipedia - I don't really have high enough internet connection to download the manga.

It is sad Yondaime-sama is dead, but we cannot keep pretending he is alive! Poor Yondaime-sama cannot rest in peace with us trying to drag him back from the dead all the time!

Yondaime is definately dead. And I think the actual name is "Pain" not "Pein." I think Nagato (Pain) called himself that because of all the pain he went through because of the war. That's all he talked about in those flashbacks.

Well, maybe it is supposed to sound like "pain", but then it would be spelled "Pein" because, in Japanese, something spelled p-a-i-n would be pronounced "pah-in". Which does not sound like 'Pain'. I feel bad for all the Akatsuki. They all went through so much. I wish I could give them all a big hug! On the bright side, Although Deidara is dead, he 'left' us something real. He's based on a real Japanese abstract artist who originally came up with the phrase, "Art is a bang!" In fact, when Deidara turns himself into a bomb, it is based off of one of that aritist's (Taro Okamoto) works, the Tower of the Sun. I have too much time on my hands. :3 |

Have you seen Sasori-sama's past? It's so sad. I think they elaborated more in the anime, but I could be wrong.
Kyogoon-senpai, I love your siggy! Both the Haruhi, and the Akatsuki, but especially the Akatsuki. ^_^

Reikeiki: Thanks x3 I love your sig too, its so cute with deidara hugging sasori, if I'm correct. Deidara and Sasori are my absolute favs. ;] Ah, yes Sasori's past was really sad. All kakashi's dad's fault >O His past was shorter in the manga, but the anime tends to drag things out.

Sometimes, the anime adds stuff I wish was in the manga. I think Sasori's past was dragged out, but they made it fit.

As long as it fits its ok, but I just wish some scenes don't take up so much time cause it makes the episodes so slow D:
And the manga is frustrating, always a cliffhanger. I'm like dying to read more about Pain's past and less on the fight ;P What if Nagato isn't Pain but its Yahiko... meh, its always a possibility; I guess.

Pein/Pain (before he changed into the Deidara lookalike) looked a lot like Yahiko!! It was so confusing!! Little Nagato looks nothing like supposed current Nagato!! Then again, he can changed his appearance....  |

GAH! What? Pein-dono turned into a Deidara-sama look-alike? *sigh* I thought I'd finally caught up . . . STUPID DIAL-UP! WHY CAN'T YOU GO FASTER SO I CAN DOWNLOAD MORE MANGA?!
*cough* Okay, I'm done with my rant.
I wish you knew more about Deidara-sama. Like, could Kishimoto-sensei give him a little more of a character profile? You know, with the height, birthday, weight, etc.? Or, all the Akatsuki, anyway.
