Heh, Tobi is a good boy. But that'd be weird if Tobi turned out to be Obito and he really was controlling the whole thing.

I can't imagine Obito being a mastermind unless he REALLY changed. But if he joined Akatsuki and IS Tobi, then he must have changed. The old Obito wouldn't have joined such an organization.

I do not remember Kakashi telling anyone that Obito had a desire for power or likes command others so that is another reason why I believe Madara is Tobi. He is suppose to be sinister and very cruel according to the Nine-Tailed Fox so that may be why Tobi was telling Pein what to do instead of the other way around. Seriously, he was telling the supposed boss of the most evil oragnization in Naruto what to do. Perhaps, Madara's personality is beginning to now show. Before, not much was known about Tobi and he had more of a carefree and goofy attitude but I think Madara is finally starting to reveal himself. When Tobi referred to himself as Madara Uchiha, he sounded very arrogant and acted as if he was terribly powerful. I think this personality suits Madara better than Obito. Still, since Obito and Madara are both Uchihas, I would not mind either one being the true identity of Tobi. I just rather not see a plot twist and have Madara be Tobi because imagine if Kakashi found out that Obito was alive and he was now a member of Akatsuki. Also, who is to explain what happened to Rin, the female member of Kakashi and Obito's team? Kakashi said everyone close to him was dead so that is why one of the main reasons I belive that Obito and Rin are dead. Also, I am not going to start thinking the unamed member of Akatsuki is somehow Rin. One possible meaning of Rin's name means "cold" and that might somehow relate to the unamed member of Akatsuki but that is just a crazy theory without much evidence supporting it. The only way I would really start believing that was if the unamed member of Akatsuki showed feelings toward Kakashi since Rin had a crush on Kakashi when she was alive. Lastly, I remember that Obito had the more rocks cave in around the side of his body that was not crushed which makes me think even more that Obito is truly dead.

Whatever you say. I had a decent amount of reasons why Obito is actually dead but you can choose to believe what you want. It's not that I don't want Tobi to be Obito but I do not see how really could be him with this evidence saying he is not. I just see Obito as being dead and there not being some crazy, insane plot twist where Obito is Tobi and Kakashi finds out or something. That just sounds a little wacked even if Kakashi did not find out.

Edit: I never thought of this before but if Obito was Tobi then wouldn't Itachi be able to figure it out. I don't remember Obito being considered a genious and a very powerful Uchiha since he did obtain the Sharingan at 13 years old which is older than when Sasuke and Itachi obtained it. If it is Madara, I can see how he is probably more powerful than Itachi and has alluded him from figuring out his true identity. Itachi said there were 3 people who could use the Mangekyo Sharingan with one being him and the other being Madara and eventually Sasuke. Okay, Tobi referred to himself as Madara Uchiha and then said the Sharingan's true power which is the Mangekyo from what I know so I do not see how Obito could have obtained the Mangekyo Sharingan without killing Kakashi. Madara could have obtained the Mangekyo long ago and be the true mastermind behind Akatsuki. Perhaps, his carefree and goofy attitude were all just an act and he is truly the evil, sinister mastermind that is controlling Akatsuki. I seriously think the Tobi is the true leader that is secretly running the shots in Akatsuki. I believe that Madara is using some type of hypnosis with his Sharingan since the Sharigan does have hypnotic abilities. In addition, I am starting to think that the mask Tobi wears enhances this hypnosis ability somehow. I understand people have mentioned Tobi being young but we never seen his true face so I would not assume his age just yet. Plus, we do not actually know the true age of Madara either. No one knows if he is dead or alive unlike Obito who was pronounced dead and how Kakashi said everyone close to him was dead.

No, I thought Oro and Kabutos's union was like Kabuto took the remains of Orochimaru after Sasuke took a good bit of him in and then took the rest in. I was sure they actually took his body in. Okay, but the problem with that it sounds insane. How do you expect me to believe Obito took Madara in if Obito was crushed and what makes it even more insane is how powerful and truly sinister Madara is suppose to be. I just don't see someone with that power inside of the goofy Obito that Kakashi once knew.

Again, Obito would be nowhere near the sinister power of Madara. Not very likely and another thing is there have not many much references to the afterlife and what goes on there.

Maby Obito found his true power and went mad with it. That happens to a lot of pople who gain power. Or maby hes possessed. Its possible.
