I am assuming he is Madara. Remember Chibi. The evidence points toward him too you know. Also, the evidence pointing toward Mardara is more logical.

Yeah, GUG I aleady told people but the Obito supporters say he is Tobi still. A few pages back, I expressed my views on why Tobi is Madara besides the magna where he refers to himself as Madara Uchiha.

It's okay though because you have not been here for awhile and so much stuff happened while you were gone. Though, the board is more awesome with your return.

I figured as much.. by the time I posted that, it was late and I am so not used to reading from a monitor anymore. these past few months, I have actually figured out how to write script again- lol From typing all the time, my script sucked. The only thing I could write legibly was signing my own name... not very impressive.

So, i am a bit lost still. We have people here that still seem to think Obito has something to do with anything? Maybe I read that wrong. Obito is dead, has been and will continue to be (lol) Sorry to disappoint. I would be actually ticked off if Kishi did this mad resurrection thing that make Obito this evil character- especially after making Kakashi pay penance for all these years in guilt.

Anyone look at the spoilers for this up coming week? If any of it is true and not people posting lame BS, looks to be exciting.We'll actually get to see what 'blue hair' is capable of and find out her name. I just hope the J-man is not in over his head.

After reading the recent chapter involving Jiraya gather information on Pain, all I can say is that they way overdid his character. They are trying way too hard to make Pain look like a badass, it's just way too over the top. Talk about overkill.

Oh and what do you guys think of that lab pain went into. Could those tubes contain Pain clones?

I;m not sure what I thought about that Tung. I need to look closer at the inscriptions at the foot of each tube.. They look to be different, so I am guessing they are beds and each inscription matches the ring every member wears.

Sounds pretty gay for a theory.. but it was my first impression of where he was at. He was thinking about some evil nonsense before the chapter ended, so I am wondering if Pein's greater ability is to be able to hunt down and attack while asleep. It sort of makes sense, considering in the past he has been able to call back all of the members through some audio box he creates through a jutsu.

I don;t think Pein's character is being over done in the least. He may not be the Akatsuki leader, but he is the only one we have seen thus far able to open the shrine that they have been sealing the bijuu into. With that said, he would have to have some out of the ordinary power that the other Akatsuki members do not have. I am interested to see what they are; as he will have to be defeated before reaching Tobi/Madara- who will have to be all the more powerful.

GUG, looking at all that has been going on in the last few chapters, I have been wondering if Akatsuki's fervent desire to capture Naruto has decreased somewhat for the moment?

I also been having this nagging theory that they may be unsuccessful in extracting the Fox out of Naruto.

I agree on both accounts Power. I think they suddenly let up on trying to get the 9 tailed fox, although it could be because they have lost 4 members and 1 former member to ninja from the Leaf village. They might have finally come to realize that Leaf shinobi are worthy opponents and a certain level of diligence is going to have to be taken if those remaining wish to survive.

With this, they might have also realized that Naruto is not going to be as easy to capture and extract the bijuu from. Deidara comments several times on how Naruto is unlike any of the other jinchuriki being he has friends and people that care about and is not a loner like the others.

Another thought I have been having with all this Tobi/Madara stuff is that perhaps having three Uchiha work together might help provoke the highest level of sharingan (it has been said there is one more level beyond the mangekyo), which might actually prove to be just as strong as the combination of all the tailed beasts (which I doubt will be the case) but, it might be a means to getting the last bijuu out of Naruto.

But another thing that boggles me is that why capture the fox when he himself that Madara Uchiha had a power and chakra that was more sinister than his own? Unless they just want to capture it for a power boost.

There is also the issue with the seal on Naruto weakening as time progresses as it is evident that even the slightest bit of frustration will cause him to go four tails. It could also give Akatsuki a break if the seal were to break and release Kyuubi (just specualtion though)

Very interesting point, Power. One that has been bothering me as well. The Kyuubi tells Sasuke that he has 'those cursed Uchiha eyes', indicating that he not only had seen them before, but he goes on to say 'with power more sinister than my own'- meaning he has seen them in action. He also mentions Madara Uchiha, which would explain who's eyes he saw in use.

The only conclusion that I can draw from all of this is that the Kyuubi recognizes Madara Uchiha to be stronger than he is. And it is a known fact, that of all the tailed beasts, Kyuubi is the strongest of them all. So, if that is of any testament of what Madara is capable of, then I would have to say they want all the bijuu because with Madara Uchiha's power, they are able to control them. It wouldn't be like it was with the tailed beasts running amok, destroying villages. With the tailed beasts in their possession, no village would have a 'hidden weapon' to contend with- which in turn would lead to world domination.

Very well laid out point there GUG. If Akatsuki was somehow able to acquire the Kyuubi, this could spell bad news for Naruto & Co, or better yet all of the hidden villages, however all may not be lost! Akatsuki may have some inner turmoil of its own (Itachi wanting to talk to Naruto, Sasuke going to meet Itachi at the Uchiha hideout) before this world domination factor comes into major play.

I am very curious about Itachi and Sauke's meeting at the Uchiha hideout. I have two theories as to what might happen there...

1- Itachi somehow proves he did not kill the Uchiha clan and tries to join forces with Sasuke to take down Akatsuki.

2- Itachi leads Sasuke to where Tobi/Madara is, as a loyal follower of someone from his own clan and an Akatsuki member. In which, the combination of the three create that higher level sharingan.

That still leaves out why Itachi wanted to speak with Naruto.. unless he was looking to obtain some information on Sasuke's whereabouts, in which he shortly found out and left.

Think about it. Pein/Pain is the Akatsuki leader, the strongest of the group full of S-class criminals. We all know how badass Itachi is, so Pein/Pain has to be way better than that to be considered the leader. And considering the people who told Jiraiya all this, they were lowly ninja minions. Pein/Pain probably looks like a god compared to them in their eyes.

I think the tubes contain the bodies of the dead Akatsuki members!! How many have died, though? If more or less than six have bit the dust, then forget my theory.

The most powerful is not always the leader of an oraganization. Usually, it's the most fit to be leader. Also, it was noted that Tobi could possibly be the real leader of Akatsuki. We saw glimpses of this when he gave orders to Pein.
