I like the FN I mean, it is not their fault they have been corrupted, They have to follow the laws and orders of the nation just like other nations do, and we do!
And anyways, I really like their clothing and architecture

And anyways, I really like their clothing and architecture Yeah you really have to think in context. Like, not everyone in the Fire Nation is "evil" and bent on world domination, just like not everyone in Iraq wants non-Muslims dead and not everyone in Nazi Germany/occupied countries sided with Hitler. but, I'm siding with the peaceful Air Nomads (and I'm not just saying that because I'm an Air sign. lol. ).

Does anyone else besides me think it's simply fantastic and wonderful that a "kid's show" has sparked this kind of politically charged discussion? People see reflections of their own views and who they are within these characters and within this show... I think it's awesome! P.S. I agree that there is a kind of Hitler-era Germany feel to the Fire Nation's agenda...not a bad way to portray evil, IMO...

Just so I can toss my opinion out here...the Pledge of Allegiance seems a lot less violent to me than the Fire Nation oath. It's the small matter of 'Liberty and Justice for all' against 'Let's burn anyone who gets in our way, MWEEHEEHEE'...that's all my two cents. Anyways, back on topic... ...I agree with the Nazi Germany feel to it. The occupation of Ba Sing Se is exactly like the occupation of Paris, because average people were horrified to see this mechanized army show up on their doorsteps. Literally. And the 'Welcome home Royal Tots' sequence screamed Nazi rally.

I saw some political mirroring that can be seen as arguement for today. Still I have to agree with Zyro and I wasn't confuse about the first epiosde but I didn't see like that though

Is it just me or is Aang looking a lot like young Zuko?! That's the point, but at least Aang's scar is on his back and not over one of his eyes, that would mean more symbolic similarities. Shot through the heart... similar place for the hurt tho...

Ba Sing Se was huge. the trade capital of the whole EK. all EK provinces that are not farming self-sustaining provinces will have been made so vunerable by now. hell, some may have even surrendered to the FN just to get food.

Okay good point but I don't think what I said was silly. But it dose look very bad for the Earth kingdom right now.
