Id like a 2 hour movie event. What i would do is have it in the future, with Aang and Katarra toddlers runnin around, Zuko rebuilding the world, and everyone is doing fine. Then something bad happens, and the gang meets up again to beat what ever evil rose. teyd beat it, and then THAT would be the end. No more spin offs. no more movie events. Just the live action films, a couple books, and then its DONE. Id like it to go on forever, but it would just ruin the story. I did hear and Avatar MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) game is in the works. What do you guys think?

I personally don't understand why everyone is looking forward to the live-action movies. Arent they just supposed to cover the series? I heard there was a movie for each book. It just doesnt sound exciting or new to me.

^^If it's Avatar related, I think it's ok to look forward to. It's something we all loved, so even if it is gonna just cover the series, who cares?! It's Avatar!! I'm looking forward to see how they do the bending effects, it should be really cool!

Hmm. So three seasons left on the ol' contract with Nick? If that's the case there is a new show coming up

Looks like Mike and Brian missed something in this, and lets say it is one thing that will result a lot of discussion, and maybe...

Am I the only one who hopes they are done with the LAB arc? I mean, sure it would be nice to see Zuko reunite with Ursa, but really, how are they going to top the finale in epicness? I would be utterly disappointed if they pulled the whole "a new villain, who was conveniently absent for the rest of the show, suddenly appears and requires to main hero to train even more to finally defeat the new threat" approach, only to pull it again and again.
However, with so much to explore in the Avaverse, why is everyone so against the notion of a completely new arc, possibly taking place during the time of the first Avatar, or the last Avatar, or the distant future where technology is slowly stopping people from being able to bend the elements? I mean, just think of the possibilities, and think of how awesome it would be.

Because we're stuck on the characters. They are the thing that defines a series. If the characters suck then the series will typically suck despite whatever else there is. At least, that's how I feel.
I'm not against a new cast of characters, but I'd rather see this bunch that we have continue to grow and mature. None of them are even legal adults yet! They have plenty of developing left to do, and I want to watch that happen.

^I agree! I wouldn't mind a completely new cast, but I'd miss Aang so much! He's really changed since book 1, and I feel like he's not done maturing yet.

Doubtless there is so much more that could be done with the characters, but Mike and Bryan have told the story that they set out to tell. If we get anything else, it should either be backstory (Iroh's spirit world journey plz) or a resolution to that nasty cliffhanger they left us with at the end of the finale.

The mods deleted the topic this was in and said I could continue it here.
I've been hearing rumors of a season 4 nature all over the web, and if they are true, there is a storyline because there is still Azula.
In this storyline Azula "recovers" from her mental breakdown during the Agni-Kai. She is tried and convicted of war crimes and sentenced to death, but she escapes.
She makes her way to the Southern Water tribe where she encounters Katara, who's there on Avatar business after saving, yes saving, her life after the boats they're sailing to collide and "sink".
As they await rescue, it becomes very obvious that Azula hasn't recovered, she repeatedly hallucinates Zuko, Aang, and Toph confronting her and taunting her about the time she spent in the Fire Nation mental hospital "screaming and crying uncontrollably until she had to be sedated by the nurse." As well as all her crimes. Soon it becomes obvious that the boat is fine, she's just keeping Katara here in order to convince her that she wasn't an "evil woman."
In this first episode I imagine, she beats Katara badly when she tries to escape, already aggravating her severe injuries. Finally, she plays Azula's game and engages her in a conversation about her past. In which Azula tries to rationalize her crimes and in the end embraces who and what she is, declaring that she will see the Earth Kingdom and Water tribes destroyed and the Avatar and all his friends dead one day before leaving her alone.
She's rescued and declares to Sokka and Toph that she will stop her, whatever the cost.
So, what storyline would you come up with for a fourth season?
