I really enjoyed the first chapter of Midnight Sun. I can't wait to read that book when it comes out. I agree, it will be interesting to see Edward's point of view (especially when Bella decides to confront James---that'll be interesting)

For the actors.......I heard the one who played Violet in the series of Unfortunate events is one of the people who might play Bella.
Also I thought the series was about the romance of Bella and Edward. But I really want to read Eclispe

*Spoilers* Twilight was magical, New Moon was nice, Eclipse was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I love the series, but the sequel just became so complicated, Bella was even more vain (at least about other's appearances), she put herself down even more, and she was more annoying; she used to be so observant but now she was fairly stupid. I knew in the very beginning ever since Edward said vampires were responsible for Seattle's deaths that Victoria was behind it, only until greatly past halfway through the book does anyone realize this. Before that no one even considered that the vampire who entered Bella's room and stole her stuff was from Victoria; everyone was so stupid. Edward had no backbone, Bella and Edward never fight and when they might get into a spat they easily avoid confrontation with make out sessions. All Bella wants is Edward, he's her drug and she says she'll die without "the core of her existence"... that isn't romance, that's obsession, obsession is unhealthy and is typically associated with villains or nut jobs who all die because of their obsession in the end. I loved Twilight so much, it was so simple, it was just about true love. Now its about a stupid love triangle with candidates that have both become very unlikeable fighting over a girl who is supposed to be ordinary and is really p****** me off. I would pick Jacob, Bella and Jake actually get into fights and reconcile. If Bella went with Jacob, she wouldn't have to change, she could have kids and Jake could age too, he can protect her without wanting to eat her. *Sigh* I hope the next book is better and not so overly complicated... and I hope Bella can actually go a few hours without thinking about Edward's "ice-cold, marble-like, David-like body".
Bella: Oh Edward, you're so smexy I want to *********** with you. But I'm so tragically ordinary, stuck as a brunette- oh the horror- no one likes me (except Edward, Jacob, Eric, Mike, and Tyler) oh woe is me. I'll die without you schnookums! *Gag*

I swear, that is so funny! She is like that, but other people look at her differently than that for other reasons, so funny. that makes people able to understand she's kinda....well...spoiled. XD

Its pretty early but I've been seeing that Breaking Dawn is going to be released August 7th. It's on a lot of the Twilight fansites. I've learned not to totally live off of a release date since season 3 of avatar was changed 60000 times. I just wish it would get here! I'm curious about the wedding and everything else!!!

I've heard that there will be a fifth and sixth book! That doesn't sound like a good thing considering how much Eclipse was dragged out for suspense. How many ideas can Meyers invent to keep this slow moving ball going?
Mrs. Meyers, if you can see this then please take to heart that your books are in dangerous need of more Bella/Edward fluff! No more epic-ness, fights, or anything else incorporated in Eclipse, just return to Edward his backbone and find one and give it to Bella then write a whole bunch of fluff that makes Bella and Edward grow out of their silly teenage love which they have mistaken to be greater than even Romeo & Juliet.
*Panting* Ahem. Mrs. Meyers, you have overshadowed this sweet and memorable romance with all of these dangerous factors threatening their relationship. Shakespeare made it work in Romeo & Juliet but that was because those threatening factors were always parts to the story and characters. The werewolves and the Volturi randomly popped up during the second book while Victoria was unneeded. All of these completely reduced the wonderful (if not stereotypical and cliche) romance of Bella and Edward.
Okay, I'm done now.

I'm inclined to think that's a lie. I've heard from a bigger fan that Stephenie confirmed outside Midnight Sun (which is Twilight in Edward's point of view), Breaking Dawn will be the last. At least I hope for the series's sake it is. (Of course, I'm always open to authors leaving the last book with a semi-open ending in case they want to continue it in the future.) Anyway...I finally finished the book and personally, I find Bella a funny character. But she's too selfish and shallow. I enjoy Stephenie's writing style, but geez...I can't even think about thinking about thinking who could be Edward in a movie because he's been described so gosh darn perfect! I'll die if I try to put a face together. xP But the problem that made me slightly angry with Bella is the fact she had to go and say "I want to be beautiful." HUH? I'm sure we'd all like to be as 'beautiful' as her vampire friends, but that just...turned me off for a moment. I also found Jacob to be selfish. His entire part he claimed his love for Bella and how he'd do anything for her, but all he did is try to get her to leave Edward. I understand his feelings, but that's not selfless and when Stephenie said Jacob had no tragic flaw in Eclipse, I was ready to call BS. All he did was try to rub it in how much better he'd be for Bella to Edward and even further, he didn't really consider her feelings until the end. Bah. Firework: I'd be more inclined to take Bella's feelings for Edward as serious as she claims they are instead of just settling to marry him. To me, it seems she's only doing it just because it's how she's going to get Edward to make her a vampire (again--selfish). She's ready to make the commitment to eternal life, but she doesn't want to make a commitment with someone she loves? Hm. Maybe her attitude will change, but for now, I'm just...disappointed in her reasoning. That and it seems like she really wants sex.

That’s why Edward/Bella bothers me so much. A lot of young girls are reading these books and E/B gives them the impression when you fall in love with someone you forget about the rest of your life and pretty much turn a blind eye to their faults. Argh. I'm just wondering if she's frikkin going to get changed into a vampire dangit!! >< Me too. Bella changing into a vampire has been dragged out far too long but...I am hoping she stays human in the end. Don’t die, bella-kins.

Maybe her attitude will change, but for now, I'm just...disappointed in her reasoning. That and it seems like she really wants sex. Oh no, I agree with you, Bella's "love" for Edward has been reduced to physical lust, Bella can't reason her love for Edward beyond his beauty- and perfection... How romantic. Bella's reason against marriage in this book is ridiculous, it should have been because of her parents like in the previous book. Edward used to be such a drool inducing hunk of marble: he smirked, teased, laughed, and was lively and enjoying all the emotions Bella induced in him. In the beginning of New Moon this isn't quite as energetic but the euphoria has to wear down eventually. Then in Eclipse he loses his personality and becomes Bella's statue slave. Now all he does is smirk, chuckle, caress Bella, say something suave, and all that ****. What is so romantic about the perfect guy: no flaws whatsoever. This is why people hate Mary Sues, they are undeserving-ly perfect and everyone loves them when they don't deserve it. Ed has been reduced to... comparing his and Bella's love to plant life. I like Jake so much more because he's energetic, talkative, lively, part dog, and has black hair *drool*... and he and Bella fight. Jacob doesn't try to control Bella or go to unnerving lengths to "protect her". They argue, reconcile, laugh, hug, play tonsil hockey- they can be human together. I've never understood why Bella wants to throw away her humanity, but my views of immortality and mortality have always been in favor of mortality; I've never understood why people would honestly want immortality. Mrs. Meyer just hasn't made immortality with Ed very appealing considering how fake and drug comparing-ly obsessed their love is. Whoo, I need to stop ranting, but this romance bothers me since so many young women read this and love it. Not only does it have one of the worst female role models ever, but because of it's unrealistic (not referring to the vampires and werewolves) love that has regressed to obsession rather than grow into a healthy relationship where the two can comfortably suvive a few hours apart.
