Eclipse! (SPOILER WARNING)

i got eclipse yesterday, the day it came out. ^^ my mom had pre-ordered it. in the about half hour i had i got to page 55. I'm telling you. It's good so far.

LOL. Edward tries to get Charlie to let him go to florida with Bella with the plane tickets she got for her birthday. lol. hes all screamin and yellin, NO NO NO!! XD i like the book so far.

Jacob kisses Bella! OMFG! I loved that part, even if she did punch him!

Jacob is so much better than Edward! ^^ I wish Bella could see that!

Loved it.

Only bad part is when Bella believes she's in love with two people at the same time. Besides that, I had many fangirl squees/spastic attacks while reading.

Exactly! Whenever Bella talks about him, she always somehow manages to describe his "perfect, flawless face". OK! We got the picture in the first 2 books, you don't have to keep reminding us that! It makes Bella seem kinda shallow (which she is). I'm just going to read the summary and spoilers from Wikipedia since New Moon wasted my time and destroyed my anticipation. I doubt Eclipse will be any different because of some angsty guys and a fight over an idiot. Yes, I'm a Bella-hater, it started in New Moon during Bella's 4-month depression (which took up half the book).

The only redeeming factor, in my opinion, is the rivalry between the werewolves and the vampires. Jake so far has been my favorite character and although it seems like I hate the series, I just want to clear up the fact that I like the series and storyline, but I just don't like the majority of the characters and the fact that Jake would most likely end up heart-broken... again.

lol, i still like edward. And now that i've finished the book, i hate to say, i hte the epilogue. It just shows somehting kinda non-important from Jacob's point of veiw. The book ends with a funny little note, but then in the epilogue it dosent say whether or not they get married, or if/when she is even turned! I hate to say, but the epilogue was a real let-down.

LOL. I love chapter 20!! XD I can't believe Bella would even ask Edward to do that with her (that as in what couples do in bed). And then he almoast gave in, but then he's like, "No, after we're married." THANK YOU EDWARD!!! ><

and then, at the end of the book, he's all, "Deals off." and then almost did it with her in a frikkin field. XD

i swear, i will never be able to understand Edward's mind. I guess he's only happy as long as Bella is happy. And i can only imagine how heavy that darn ring is. XD

lol, Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. It was released august 7th i think? It came out last tuesday.

EDIT: I posted this on the Twilight thread as well, i figured this is a better place to put it because more people are looking at it. anyway... Nevermind and i were talking and she showed me a bunch of pictures of who Stephenie Meyer has in mind for actors for the movie. Note: i will post my opinion on them, and unfortunatley i dont have a picture of who Bella might be. ;_;



Up first, ROSALIE! Now, i like her, she seems good to play as rosalie, the beauty and everything seem good enough to match.

Emmet. Everything matches him as well too. But as Kimi put it as, "Big body, small head." XD lol



This dude is supposed to be James, the vampire who almost kills Bella and turns her into a vampire in the first book. Now, I like this guy a lot. He looks like he has that suave and hysteria to him that makes James, James. A little makeup and he look bloodthirsty yet.



O. M. G. This guy is supposed to be Edward, now, he looks young for Edwards age, but im sure with some Hollywood help he may be just perfect to play Edward. In short, I LOVE THIS ACTOR. I can't wait to see him on the big-screen for sure. Oh woe, if only he had the undenying beauty as described in the book.



Ew. I don't like this guy as Charlie. Not one bit. I don't think he looks like him one bit.



OMG NO. This is supposed ot be CARLISLE. NO! NO NO NO NO! He looks about the same age as darn EDWARD! He's supposed to look like a middle-aged guy. No. Pick someone else.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. This is a second option for Charlie. Dennis Quaid would be perfect as Charlie. I can see him sitting on the couch watching sports and saying, "Hey Bells, how was school?" lol, pick him! pick him!



This is the super-spunky happy-go-lucky future-seeing Alice. I like her a lot as Alice. 'Nuff said.



Jacob. No. He ain't Indian enough to be Jacob! XD So a thumbs down on him.



Looks young enough to be the sixteen year old Jacob. He has that russet skin Jacob has, so a yes for him. Much better than the last one.

Aww, I like Steven Strait as Jacob! As for Carlisle- it says on the Lexicon that in actuality, he was turned into a vampire at age 23 and now poses as any age between 25-35. So, in a few years, that actor would work.

Thing is, in the movie, they will most likely cast Carlisle in the 30-45 year range. Still, he must be beautiful

I think I died three or four times reading this book. I totally loved it. 100%. The whole "Gah.. I just can't choose between Edward and Jacob" thing was hilarious! So entertaining. Plain and simple, I loved it.
