Also, when characters seem to just randomly explode in a ginormous geyser of blood that would fit better in a water tower than in someone's body, just because a certain screenwriter lacks knowledge of how to create a slightly more sensible death scene. I love that! Not just because of "w00t blood" but tis also an artistic decision and makes fights much more interesting and enjoyable. Just watch the censored version of "Kill Bill" and youll see what i mean. When theyre too scared to kill off characters.

I lol at those scenes. I laugh when someone gets stabbed in the stomach and blood pours out like Niagara Falls, but they somehow haven't gone into shock.

How about when people get stabbed in the foot or something and they bleed out their mouth? No matter where they get hit, it always comes out their mouth. XD

Or when they get wet, their hair stays the same as if water never touched it at all.

Just watch the censored version of "Kill Bill" and youll see what i mean. Well in some cases it could just depend on whether they're going for realism, comedy, drama, or a combination of those three. The scenario that I spoke of is generally only unwelcome where it's severely out of place, but unfortunately in most cases it is. I'm just fine with it being an artistic decision as long as it doesn't muck with what was being "stated" at any other point in the series' timeline. Of course such a scene being used as a means of forcing a character death on the watcher is a completely different story.

OMG, I know a perfect example of "ginormous geyser of blood"!!
When Envy, as the dragon in the FMA movie, crunched down on Ed's dad. There was way more blood than there needed to be spilling down on the floor.

Hyper-active annoying teenage girls...mainly because it influences REAL anime fans to act like that... (Except Ed. Ed is cool).

How no amount of training ever prepares the hero to defeat the ultimate villian. The villian is usually defeated by transformation, anger, fusion, and or fireball faceoff.

Not necessarily pet peeves, but probably minor WTFs and annoyances: The image in the link above explains everything for me, especially number 11.
