Cloud is so PS1-lookin'. XD Sorry, I forgot what old graphics look like. Big swords are awesome, though. Ugh, no. Really big swords most likely equal really small something else... Is that why Cloud didn't really end up w/ anyone at the end? --------------------------------------- People who not only talk w/ their eyes closed, but walk, eat, shamelessly hit on pink haired nurses and blue haired cops w/ their eyes closed. Also, the yelling of the attack's name before it's excuted.

My biggest anime pet peeve is... Series that hook you, that pull you in. You quickly tear through the subs hoping to get to the big pay off, to the happy ending and then BAAAM!! brick wall. It turns out that they never made the ending and you have to now go hunting for the right volume of the manga just to get to see the ending that should have been included in the anime. CURSE YOU LOVE HINA!!!!Oh and another pet peeve is when the anime deviates from the actual events of the manga, or just sort of leaves stuff out. I mean, what is the point of even watching the anime if to even understand half of what is going on I have to go and buy the manga. Or when the anime gets too far ahead and then just starts making stuff up. Like WTF mate?! And ducks what is up with ducks . . . okay that is different pet peeve all together. On a side note, Love Hina series had an OAV which does give an ending to the series (which is based on the Manga which they had to condense it down to 3 episodes). I'm sure if you look through youtube hard enough you will find them. Another pet peeve is how everyone who isn't Japanese is essentially a giant stereotype *coughGGundamcough*

Or when the anime gets too far ahead and then just starts making stuff up. Like WTF mate?! They do that with FMA, but I actually like it. It means that there's still something to look forward to after the series ends. And when the manga finally does come out, you don't know whats going to happen Yup, 2 series in 1. This isnt exactly a pet peeve about the anime itself, but dub haters tick me off.

That's because when DBZ was being made into an anime, Toriyama was still working on on the manga and they were dangerously close to catching up. (You Naruto fans know what I'm talking about when I say "useless, seemingly-endless filler.") Yeah, those drawn out fight scenes were primarily the studio's doing to keep from running past the manga storyline.
Except One Piece. Who couldn't hate the One Piece dub?
Characters who suck for most of the show and then magically they become hardcore with little explanation.

I have to say I hate the girls who are just perfect and smart and have extremely high sex appeal...they're smart and pretty and ditzy and powerful and strong and wise and loved...it's annoying. They have no flaws! It may be a fan service for guys, but it's annoying for me. xD

I agree the ever-so-perfect girls.I LOVE girls. Yum. But I want the story to be one the screen, not the boobs that jiggle for three minutes after the girl stopped moving.
And also the ridiculous builds. How can ALL the guys have four-packs and ALL the girls have boobs of like, cup EEEEEEE? I REALLy hate that when the guys eat like, three to four plates of food and should be as big as a blimp in reality...
The repitition/SLIGHT variation of various clips.

When they force character death on you and try and make it sadder than it is.
Masashi Kishimoto: The third Hokage loved Konoha and died for thm! I dont care if he wasnt a particularly developed charcter, cry goddamnit!

I'm just saying that women are not flawless...if they're going to be athletic, let's be reasonable and not have them with cup size 46 DD. xD As for guys, they all don't have to be muscular...especially when the guys are like...14 or something...srsly...it's creepy. @as: Yah...unless they explain "oh, hey, I got a hair cut" or something...but I don't like it when eye colors change constantly. Like in one scene, eyes are gray, then the next they're brown or something. xD

the guy fan service I suppose. the peek at the undies (especially if it has no bearing on the story) , short skirts Barbie wouldn't wear, the boobs...my fav: Stratos 4 the girls go from a a cup and being all boxy in their school uniforms to D-cup curvy bomb shells once they put their flight suit on... ;D

This isnt exactly a pet peeve about the anime itself, but dub haters tick me off. YES. YESSSSS. As a dub enthusiast, sub elitists and dub-haters make me angry. Dub-bashing is about the only thing relating to fictional things that can make me angry. Also, flashing back to a scene earlier in the series. I don't mind recaps at the beginning of shows to remind viewers of important events, but flashbacks in the middle of an episode to something we've already seen are kind of stupid.

I suppose if it's episode 3 and we're seeing something from episode 2 that we've already seen, then yes, it's unnecessary...but if it's like...episode 49 and we're just seeing a small flashback from episode 6 or something...it isn't that bad. Unless it's like...the entire episode.

My anime pet peeve is that when one of the characters gets hurt, they MAGICALLY stop bleeding, like, three seconds later!!! Seriously. It makes you wonder how much VITAMIN K those people are getting! (Too much?) And also when you think they've died and you're all sad, and they magically haven't died, because something happened right when they got hit.

Also, when characters seem to just randomly explode in a ginormous geyser of blood that would fit better in a water tower than in someone's body, just because a certain screenwriter lacks knowledge of how to create a slightly more sensible death scene.

Agreed. I can understand if you want to have scene with gore, but honestly..
