i think she does know but it doesnt really have to be said they are comfortable the way they are. when/if they become official it wont be some big over blown thing making out all the time. to make another harry potter analogy it wont be like ron/lavender more like ron/hermione and things can go unsaid. They practically act as a couple already. i know this from experiance when your in love with one of your best friends its very hard to bring it up.
Some are saying that she doesnt act all shy around aang. Thats because its developed over time as they have grown up. Its not like jet who was just some hot guy to her. Kataang is deeper.
