The Zutara Capfic Cruise!!!

"I don't see why not," Lu remarked, running her own hands over one of the glowing crystals. "There are plenty here, and it's in the abandoned part of the city, so it should be ok." She winked at her cohorts as she tried to figure out how to loose one of the crystals from the wall. Wriggling one free, she slipped it into a pouch for safekeeping. Then Lu rubbed her back and remarked, "You know, I think I took it a bit too hard on the slide over there. That's gonna leave a mark!" Pecan barked sympathetically, then rubbed against Luthien's leg. "Thanks, buddy," Lu remarked. That was followed quickly by a gasp. "There it is!" Lu shouted. "That's it!"

Walking over to one side of the cavern, she told the rest of the group, "This is the exact spot where Katara offered to heal Zuko's scar! Right here! I have the archival photo to prove it!" And Lu held up this picture:



Lu started snapping photos of the area, determined to document that she herself had stood in this place of Zutarian history.

Voc smirked, agreeing with Lu 100% and chipped a piece of the crystal the size of her hand.

"There." Voc placed the crystal into the pouch she was carrying and joined Lu with her pictorial.

Maha looked at the archival photo Lu had presented; the one that had appeared in countless sigs on countless message boards and nodded.

"That's it." She said looking at the area. "They certainly do look good together, don't they?"

A loose crystal had fallen to the floor of the cave and Maha tucked it into her back pack.

"We should head for the Jasmine Dragon soon." She said. "We're behind schedule and we don't want to miss out on any of our plans."

Flashes filled the cave as everyone began taking their final shots, standing in THE SPOT and touching each other's faces gently to get a replica shot.

Toph waved her arms over the Dai Li's giant slide and it suddenly became steps. More flashes burst in the air. It wasn't Zutara related but it was extremely cool.

"Wow!" Lu marvelled at Toph's incredible show of Earthbending. "Oh that?" the small but strong girl remarked, "That was nothing, Sweetcheeks! You outta see what I did to get to Fire Lord Ozai's hideout!" Toph cracked her knuckles and smirked as more lights went off from cameras capturing the moment.

Luthien walked up beside maha. "I can't believe we're headed to the Jasmine Dragon, too. Best tea in the city! And in a city this size... that means a lot!" Iroh chuckled softly, then remarked, "You all are too kind. I'm sure the patrons were just being generous to an old man like myself." "No way!" said Luthien. "We've had your tea on the ship and it's beyond description. You really *are* a tea-making genius, you know." The retired general's cheeks flushed light pink at the compliment, then blossomed into a bright red color when Luthien accompanied the remark with a smooch on the cheek.

The Jasmine Dragon was crowded, but they were expected. Iroh had made arrangements for a fabulous tea service with the finest jasmine, ginseng and white dragon teas and cake galore.

The expected dragon cake was the center piece and they once again gasped at it's beauty.



But that wasn't all. Iroh had also provided




for the chocolate lovers (Chibi ),

and




for those who like a little spice with their sweet (maha ),

and




for those who love a heart-shaped, purple-hued confection (everybody )


Wide eyes drank it all in.

[The Blue Chibi]

"Oh!" "Hey!" "Ouch!" "Watch it!" "Who're you shoving?!" Angry cries were coming from the back of the crowd. Someone was pushing their way none too gently to the front.

"Teeeeeaaaaaaa..." Chibi uttered slowly, eyes wide and scaring everybody around her. "Must have teeeaaaa... Oh!" Stopping short, she caught sight of the dragon cake. "My, that's too beautiful to eat!" Noticing the chocolate cupcakes instead, she pounced on those and grabbed a double handful, stuffing her face.

"Er, excuse me," came a voice from behind her. Turning to look, her mouth dribbling cake crumbs, Chibi found confronting her a rather full-figured young woman with an apron tied around her waist and a tray with teacups on it. "We don't act like that in here. This is the Jasmine Dragon, the best tea shop in the city, and I don't think Iroh-sensei would want you behaving that way!" Her voice was rising a bit irritatingly, but Chibi tried to apologize around her mouthful. "I'b thorry... I..." *cough* She grabbed a teacup from the table nearest her ("Hey!" cried its startled owner) and drained the contents. "I... wow, that was good. Huh. Okay, I'm sorry, look -- can I make it up to you? Give me a broom. I'll --"

"Don't bother, Chibi," came Mai's bored drawl. She was at the cake table, picking at the purple curls on the pastry and putting them in her mouth. "She's just a peasant, and a servant, and it's her job, anyway. Make her do it." The curvy aproned girl nearly dropped the tray in her rage. "Whaaat?! Excuse me, what did you just say!!?" Setting the teacups down carefully, she shoved her sleeves up above the elbow and advanced on the tall, black-haired noblewoman. "I don't care who you are, you don't mess with Li Jin!! Just who do you think you are?!!" she screamed. Patrons were turning around, and some were slipping out the door. Chibi backed up from the brewing catfight, not sure what to do or how to calm them down.

"Uh-oh..."

TWB's attention flew straight to the chocolate cupcakes, which seemed very defenseless in lieu of the oncoming confrontation. How would they save themselves if they were to get knocked over? Unless...

"Don't worry, you yummy friends, I'll protect you!"

She quickly ran over and hid the tray of cupcakes in her janitor's wagon for safe keeping. All the better to enjoy them later after the worst blew over!

Maha looked for Iroh to see if the melee was as upsetting to him as was to her but found him giggling like a school boy. Why do males think cat-fights are such great entertainment? She wondered.

"Oh well, I guess I'll save the gingerbread cupcakes." She picked up the tray and scooted to a corner, followed by others who had weighed the appeal of watching a cat-fight against the deliciousness of the tasty morsels on the tray and declared the cakes the victors.

And just as suddenly as it had begun, the noise of the fight ended. Maha looked up, licking some cinnamon-spiced cream cheese frosting off her lips and noticed Skye and Sokka looking enormously disappointed as Jun carried the two hellions out of the Jasmine Dragon by the scruffs of their necks like the cats they were.

"Yum." Bagpipe had at some point decided to completely ignore the fight in favor of the celebration and reached over to sample some of the purple heart cake. "What nice afternoon." She sighed.

"Isn't it?" Maha smiled dreamily as she sunk her teeth into another luscious, gingery bite of cake.

"What's going on here?!" called a voice from the door of the shop. Zuko, who had gotten hungry waiting on the ship for the others to return, had decided to show up at his uncle's shop and meet them. At his side, his arm draped over her shoulders, was Katara.

Out in the street could be heard "Lee?" at the same time that Mai screamed, "Zuko!! You had no right to write that scroll and leave it out where just anyone could have found it! And what are you doing with that peasant?!"

Eyes flashed and tempers flared as a thunderstorm rumbled outside...

[Blind Bandit]

Blind Bandit looked on a little nervous have been very late to the party( a trend it seems). He sat at table watching everyone mingle and the commission that was unfolding in front of him.

He looked around for anyone he knew thinking silently to himself that he was never any good at these kinds of affairs.

"BB!" screamed Chibi, rushing up and grabbing his arm. "I'm so glad you're here! Look!" She pointed out in the street. "Three cats fighting over a dog!! Do something!!"

SkyE, being a tea lover, absolutely loved being in Iroh's tea shop, and, upon seeing BB enter the cozy cafe, he decided to walk over and talk to him.

Wiping her mouth daintily with a fine, linen napkin Maha swallowed her last nibble.

"I'm stuffed." She told Bagpipe, speaking loudly to be heard over the yowls and exclamations of the cat-fight in the street. "We should get going as soon as they're finished." She recommended nodding toward the outside.

From the approaching rainclouds swooped a large, fuzzy white shape. The Kyoshi Warriors had been alerted to the situation at the Jasmine Dragon, and had borrowed Appa to come help rescue their friends. Tossing out ropes, they hovered above the messy scene on the street as large raindrops started to splash down.

"Hurry!" they called to Zuko and Katara. "Climb on! We're late for lunch with Ursa at the Royal Palace in the Fire Nation! Quit fighting and get in quick, or she's gonna be mad!!"

Muttered Suki, "And I'd hate to see that. Hell hath no fury like a Momma TurtleDuck scorned."

BB watched as the couple left on appa. Hey cibi has somone been giving you too much suger he said as he huged chbi.

Hey sky how are you my friend BB said turning to sky.

So dose anyone have anything good to eat?
