BORRA BORRA BORRA BORRA BORRA Cutest couple, and they can be themselves around one another! I LOVE IT! Okay, now that that's out of my system... I actually didn't really care for this episode as much as the others. Too much teen drama. The love triangle came on too hard, too fast, and too awkwardly. I'm hoping that this was the "let's give the shippers what they want" episode and the rest of the series will get back to the plot. That said, we needed a lighter episode after the last one. That got dark! So, how many people are going to jump on the Korra/Tahno bandwagon? I don't personally like Tahno, but can I put forward a name for the ship? Tahnorra! Korra knowing waterbending-healing was my favorite plot point of the episode. When Bolin was injured, I immediately thought "oh, I wish Katara was here..." and then Korra whips that skill out. Finally, I knew that the Fire Ferrets had to get into the finals just due to good storytelling, but I didn't like the deus ex machina of Korra suddenly being able to dish it out and win. It was a tad too contrived. But I can't wait for the next episode anyway! I hope the three of them aren't taken out on stretchers.

I havn't seen the episode yet but... Its a shipping episode? Really? We end the voice in the night with Korra being mind raped and broken, so we continue that with wacky teenage hijinks?
I can't judge until I see the episode, but I already feel disappointed.

I loved and hated this episode so much. Bolin was the best part through the whole thing. He is too perfect. The only character I could empathize with. Apparently Mako gets to have a choice between the richest girl in Republic City or the most powerful. Wow, lucky you.
I hated all the shipping. Hopefully, it's over for awhile now. It's just too much at one time.

I agree all the shipping stuff came on a little too quick and seemed a little too forced. I really like all these characters though, so it was nice to just see them interacting instead of dealing with Amon. I just wish they had introduced all these issues in a more believable fashion. As far as shipping goes, I feel a little conflicted now. I always thought Mako and Korra would make a cute couple, but her and Bolin are just too precious together. I feel like she should have realized the position she was putting the brothers in when she agreed to go out with Bolin right after being rejected by Mako. My heart was breaking for Bolin when he saw the two of them kissing.
I feel like Mako is just staying with Asami because her dad is funding their team. He doesn't seem too happy to be with her. I figured Korra would call him out on that one. I thought he was being a little inconsiderate when Bolin asked about Korra. Surely he could see why his brother was asking.
As far as the tournament goes, I was really getting into the competition even though I pretty much assumed they would make it into the finals. I liked that Bolin got to get his moment of fame in the tiebreak. Korra's knockout in the semifinals was definitely impressive. It was good that even though in a lot of ways she was the one who caused the team's issues she never gave up on them and stuck with it to the end.
And every episode I want a fire ferret even more. Pabu getting a bath was the cutest thing I've seen in a while. Followed closely by him scooting out of the restaurant on his belly.

I'm pretty sure that was a way of taking care of the shipping that everyone was so concerned about. Its like they wanted to kill everything so that the fans would be able to focus on the real issues at hand. It was all still a very good episode.

I didn't know what to make of this episode. The entire shift from last Saturday's episode threw me off a little. I wanted to see some of what Korra was feeling after her encounter with Amon being incorporated, but this episode made it look like she just dusted Amon's warning off her shoulder. I'm sure we'll get to see some of that internal conflict in the future episodes, and see how it will translate into her relationships with Mako and Bolin. I hope to see more friendship chemistry with the trio, and having Bolin and Mako be her support system throughout the series (aside from Tenzin). Asami didn't really have much of a role in this episode, but I'm curious to see what kind of relationship she'll have with Korra. It looked as if she was mainly there to support Mako rather than the entire team. I would've liked to see her interact with Bolin and Korra as well rather than just Mako & being all "lovey dovey." I love all characters in this series, but this episode raises a question with Asami. (No hate intended) The whole shipping thing just happened so fast! It left me feeling conflicted, but I love Bolin a lot more, now that I watched this episode. I don't know what to make of Mako and Asami's relationship, what with Mako's fixed feelings and all. Throughout the whole shipping fiasco, I kept quoting Bolin - "Leave some for the rest of us!" Haha. My heart aches for him T^T. He is so sweet! I loved the minor backstory with Pema and Tenzin, after Jinora and Ikki's little couple counseling session <3 I wonder if what people have been speculating of Lin being Tenzin's "previous love interest" to be true? Hmm. Overall, this episode left me with several things that kept me wanting more - First being, Korra's incredible hat trick! I'm excited to see the Ferrets come face to face with Tahno and the Wombats edit: sorry, I meant Wolfbats. From the promos that I've seen, it looks as if their championship tournament will have an intermission by Amon and co. And, second, when Bolin's shoulder was injured... she offered to heal him! A technique taught to her by Katara This I was pleased with. On a side note: Flameo Instant Noodles!

On a side note: Flameo Instant Noodles! I lost it at that part. I just started yelling at my television through Sokka-esque laughter "THEY WENT THERE! THEY WENT THERE!" There were a lot of really good little bits of humor in this episode, which was one of my favorite parts of ATLA so I'm glad to see it continue into this series. I think my favorite moment of the whole episode was when Bolin was talking with food in his mouth and being generally unrefined, and then the "camera" turned to Korra who was doing the exact same thing! It was so subtle but so hilarious.

I'm on the fence on this ep. I loved the probending and the rivalry of the Wolfbats, but the whole shipping thing was weird for more reason than one. I wished we saw a reason why Mako was doubting his relationship with Asami. He was gaga over her last episode. I hope Bo gets a girl, because the whole brother angle made it even more awkward to watch. But he and Korra were so cute together!!!
