What were some of your scariest moments while playing a videogame?
I usually don't scare easily. But one time, when I was playing Majora's Mask, I had gotten to Clock Tower on the third day. Well, Skull Kid uses the power of Majora's Mask to bring down the moon, right? Well, during that scene, I was scared half to death! I calmed down during the flashback with Link and Zelda, but when Tatl yelled at Link to get back to reality, my heart was beating faster again. I know, it sounds stupid, but it's true.

The moon in Majora's Mask freaks me out, too.
I was playing Final Fantasy X-2 and I was at the final boss on the road to the Farplane. Well, the boss, Anima, used his special technique on me. At first I was all, "Please don't kill me!!" as he dragged me to the underworld or whatever to do his technique. But then this freaky demon skeleton thing came out of Anima and started punching the crap out of me!!! The demon skeleton thing scared me so much that I looked away from the screen and only looked back when I heard my characters crying in pain back on the normal battlefield.

I haven't played FFXI. I played a GBA FF game one time and when this one character turned out to be a girl and wasn't a guy after all, it just made me laugh.

The scariest moment was in Halo 2 when you find Ling Ling's head..... it's a special hidden trick that Bungie(the creators of Halo) added...
If you turn the day and month to "7" (Bungie has an obsession with 7's xD) on the X Box main screen calendar, then go to the Zanzibar level, the "No Swimming" signs show a freaky severed dog head. The sign says "are you finding Ling Ling's head?" And if you look to the left on a rock wall you can see the outline of a rabid dog head.
When I saw this sign I was crying and laughing my head off at the same time. xD
Apparently "Ling Ling" was one of Bungie's steps to world domination, a freaky dog head in a jar: if the jar is opened, Bungie would make a sequal to their first game, Gnop. Notice what word Gnop is spelled backwards. Crazy stuff, man..

It's probably laughable now, but Doom (the original) was pretty darn scary at the time. There wasn't anything else out there like it.

I can't decide:
House of the Dead-- I first played that game when I was in 4th grade and completely new to horror video games...nuff said.
Silent Hill -- Whenever pyramid head came around corners or popped out of no where, christ I nearly peed my pants.
Condemned -- I just recently played that game and it freaked me out like crazy. The part where you're in the Department Store and all the manikens start following you everytime the screen flashes and everything is in black and white...geeeeeeeez..... T_T

The first time I ever saw the Tyrant in Resident Evil. I was all like, Oh, my God. I was horrified. Now, I just use Action Replay to get Barry's gun at the beginning and also save him, so I just blast Tyrant in the Lab, and that's that. (Yeah, with Action Replay, you can have Barry's gun and still save him. See, you can get his gun from the beginning, and when it comes time to decide whether or not to give him his gun back, you can give him his gun and still have it. That's the beauty of temporarily re-writing your disc's data. Action Replay. The world's most powerful cheat system.)

In Ocarina of Time, when I was in the Water Temple, and in the illusion room (the room where you fight Dark Link). Well, I go to the end of the room, go back to the middle, and--bang!--Dark Link's standing there! That made me jump.

Trying to fight that armored fish boss in Majora's Mask was scary, hardest boss in the game IMO. I was trying to fight it from the platform for 40 minutes before I gave and jumped in and braved it in the water.
