Does anyone absolutley love the season 3 preview music? I played it over sieriosuly like 30 times just to listne to it. its so good!

yeah... that is awesome!!! they should definitely put that music in the soundtrack if the decide to make one!

Well I signed it....we're at exactly 1447 signartures so far. I really hape they make the soundtrack.

I finally got around to signing the petition (*lazy*). The Track Team has some really awesome music, and I'd love to force my friends to listen to it play it while I'm in the car. =)

I guess buying the soundtrack will be better then downloading it from somewhere. I mean for collectors value. All I am going to do is burn it onto my computer and make a playlist anyways. I cannot wait.

But I do not understand why you just cannot make an AUTHENTIC petition. I mean, look at some of these comments. "AVATAR IS AWESOMEZ!!!!1!1!1!!elventy" It's not relevant, it's not mature, nor will it yield productive results. >>

Because walking around town asking people to sign something would get me nowhere. That and even if I put up one for someone to print out, sign, and send in, I'd get maybe 200 people to do it. Most people I hate to say, are lazy creatures that refuse to do anything above what is necessary for them to live.

Anywho, we've officially reached 1500 signatures! This was the benchmark I had set to send in signatures but after talking with a few of my friends and co-workers I've decided to hold off until episode 15 of season 3. This will give us more time to gain signatures because of the added press with the release of season 3 on tv. And it will also allow everyone to hear the music from season 3 to get even more hyped.

1600!! In only a few short weeks. One comment read:

"The music of Avatar truly is a rarity in quality. If an option to be able to download from iTunes became available I'd be very interested"

and I must agree.

I know online petitions sometimes founder, but they're usually about extending a show that's already cancelled or something, and that's a corporate decision that's already been made and not likely to be changed, sadly. This one is an indication to a corporation how many customers they could reasonably expect if a soundtrack were to be released, a decision that has been made many times before with other shows.

Shock Wave, I've seen him advertise his site like 50 times already. It really chapped my Equus asinus.

Yeah, I think I sent it to Nick with an e-mail address I barely use (for security reasons), so I may check that now.

So there have been a lot of signatures lately, which is great, but there have also been a lot of interesting comments to read as well, which I love. Here are a few:


"The wonderful music of this series deserves to be available. Also, Iroh's lullaby in the second season episode "Tales From Ba Sing Se' should be present on the release!"

"The music used for the Avatar series is some of the best I've ever heard for a series, children's or otherwise. It has that exotic tinge that fits perfectly with the settings, with intense, stirring moments that just have you gasping for breath. I would love to have a soundtrack of the series, and would snatch it up in a heartbeat more than anything else. Please consider making one...music such as this should not be ignored!"
