Then again we never did tally how many here in terms of age groups of course, 10 to 19 - 7 20 to 29 - 25 30 to 39 - 6 and 40+ - 4 There's people here older than me? Now I don't feel so special Well about the 40+, that is older then 40 years old, not just that age, since I did a little reading on this thread to get the votes, and apparently we had about 2 people who also liked this show were in their 50's according to one of the members here, that is how I found that out, besides anyone here who can also account family members are also included in the votes too.

Well, thanks for setting up the poll, then, chaobender. This is interesting info. But... I'm the oldest person I know who watches Avatar. I need to find somebody older to convert. (Aha! Foster's has given me an idea... get some of that age-inducing pudding from Bloo and infiltrate the nursing home!)

^ XDDDD Blue Chibi! Make sure you don't forget your laptop and Avatar DVDs. You know they won't let you out once you're in.

Ah! Since we can include other people we know, I'll add my Mom in here. I've successfully converted her to "Avatar" (she's anticipating the Season 3 premiere), and she's 55 - she'll be 56 in December.

I suddenly felt better about being a 30-something Avatar fan when my son was getting his haircut and a grandpa-aged guy and his teenage granddaughter walked into the salon and saw my son's Appa toy and both screamed "APPA! Where did you get that?!?" I blinked and laughed and said 'Toys R Us.' LOL I knew then that Avatar is clearly a Universal story that appeals deeply to the human soul and not necessarily a chronological age group.

Let's see...my mom watches it with me. And my dad is the one who introduced me to my newest crack.
Both are below 40.

I'll bet I'm older! LOL Possibly, but you're already converted. And you found an Appa plush at Toys R Us?! *bangs head* I have been trying to get one for over a year.

Well, lets say it is not easy to getting many age groups here, but here is the update before the day Avatar airs again, 10 to 19 - 8 20 to 29 - 31 30 to 39 - 8 and 40+ - 8 and the 20 year olds still take control of the fan base here, oh and one more suggestion, would it be better if we made a poll for what age group you are and stuff, thought I wanted to ask that?

They're finally being sold in stores? I must make a trip out there posthaste. That's an awesome story. I really do believe that Avatar is one of the few shows that transcends age and gender. It's got a human element that everyone can relate to, and it makes me happy to see such a wide range of people enjoying it. I'm 25, my big sister is 26, and my brother just turned eleven. Avatar is one of the few shows we can all sit down and enjoy together.

I'm over 20, under 29. Woo! ;D I worked for a year at Toys R Us and never saw an Appa plushie...sadness! I worked in the video game dept and I used to cut through the Avatar toy section on my way over there. I saw a hard plastic Appa, but it wasn't the same. I used to always press the little sound button on the "real air bending glider!" though. Somehow it seems like a bad idea to give little kids a glider...look Mommy, I'm gonna fly off the couch! (thump) As for 20-somethings getting a glider...well...I fought temptation daily. Buying the video game was bad enough...I *knew* it wouldn't be that great but I bought it and played it through anyway. Stupid THQ and their lazy debuggers. (And in case anyone wants to bug me for insider toy news, sorry, I quit there recently...now I'm in grad school 400 miles away being a much happier little musician) ;D
