^ I dont quite recall Toph sandbending. I have no problem describing her as a master earthbender. I dont think Toph's blindness ever causing her difficulty in earthbending.In fact, I think that it has helped her develop her earthbending beyond others because she relies on it to make up for her blindness. She said it herself in the desert. She can't see through the loose and grainy sand, and since she relies on earthbending to see, being in the desert was a disadvantage to her. She did use sandbending once, but poorly as she was holding up the tip of the library. I don't see sandbenders being "masters" or experts. Just some people who are naturally adept to their environment. |

^ ^hmm. I will have to rewatch that episode to catch toph sandbending then. Thanks for the heads up. Yes, she couldnt "see" with her earthbending because of the nature of the sand but that would probably have been equally true if she had not blind. Any of the Team Avatar could have just as easily have stubbed their foot on the buried sandbenders boat.

Toph dosen't sandbend...I have the episode. She can't bend it cause she can't focus on it due to not being sold.
and I doubt that this was made to be an halloween episode, maybe it was added more layers of scariness or just a coincidence

She did it partially by blasting blindly at the sandbenders, I said she wasn't able to do it well.
I said that, and she was too distracted with keeping the temple up.

Toph is sandbennding but it's very bad sandbending she's just flinging it around.

She's using it like solid earth rather than with a waterbending flavor because the sand is like a fluid. Any normal earthbender could bend sand if they learned it and experimented but Toph cant because her sight depends on standing on solid earth.
However Blood/metal/lightening bending are only for the select few very powerful benders (which should take a long time to ignore but the series doesnt have time to show all that ;p)

^ Well she was certainly doing some bending. The whole Appa-napping storyline was very distressing and depressing. I think by the Earth King episode, Team Avatar had had enough and the Earth King's guards were lucky to get off as lightly as they did.

Hama=Insane freak show witch who is scarier than hearing Koh's voice saying "I'm behind you..." in the middle of an a dark alley with no sign of life after seening your opinion of the freakiest horror movie ever while feeling the unnecessary notion of being stalked at 2:00 in the morning. *gulp*

the puppet master was really freaky!! I HATE it when Katara blood bended, it was so. eeeeew! I cant imagine the feeling of being controlled!!
