^ I found her story quite scary.... It remined me of this one in my pony magazine where a girl went riding and her and her pony froze to death..... That story freaked me out when I was little....
I didn't like the puppetmaster..... It went off on a bit of a tangent... But then I don't like it when Ozai aint in an epi coz I'm extremly bias....

I honestly didn't find Katara's story to be that scary. I was expecting a bit more out of the whole episode, I think. Was wonderfully done for a Y7 show, though. Bloodbending is a really, really dark subject, and they did really well with making it decent for a Y7 show. sorry, I'm a bit of a n00b with these things (I watch every avatar episode on the internet). What is Y7?

What is Y7? Y7 is the rating that Avatar is given in the USA.

I loved the Puppetmaster. It thoroughly scared my younger brother though. Hama is indeed a very good bad guy. Very well done.

My younger brother isn't an Avatard but was on the computer while I was watching The Puppetmaster. We were home alone and the lights were off and I'm under a blanket on the couch too petrified to move. He went to go upstairs and I wouldn't let him because I felt like Hama was going to get me. ...He thinks I'm crazy.

Best season three episode; it had that old, simple Avatar feeling. They could have done SO much more with it, but there's only so much with a kid oriented audience.

If the rating wasn't Y7, I feel they could've done a ton more with this. The plot was good, but epi was just kind of boring to me. Nothing really scary about it...but then again, nothing on tv (movie, epi, ect) can scare me. It takes some MAJOR stuff to get me to even flinch.

I LOVED 'The Puppetmaster.' In my view it's one of the very best episodes of S3. It was rather dark but I thought tastefully done, as per usual for Mike and Bryan. The Avatar world is at war. And let's face it, war is a fairly dark subject. Is Hama a hero or evil-incarnate? Was she merely the product of her dire environment like Jet or should she have just given up and died in a Fire Nation prison? Absolutely wonderful storytelling!

The puppet master is a cool episode, it reminds me of the song Master of puppets.

The puppet master is a cool episode, it reminds me of the song Master of puppets. I've never heard of that song. What's it from? shame on you! I don't like the music but even I know where it's from. It's a song from metalica... if I'm not mistaken... ^^; But on to the episode; I was pretty bored this weekend so I decided to watch some of the season 3 episodes again and I have to say that this one is arguably the best episode in season 3 thus far. Well at least to me it is. I think it was a bold and risky move to make the episode this dark. But I think it came out brilliantly! The fact is that because the episode was so grim of nature it was able to keep my undivided attention. The episode was still able to grip me even though I watched it for the second time. Something that most other episodes fail at. In all honesty, I can't really dissect my opinion on this episode in well thought out arguments, it's just that this one was so exciting and the story telling was thus good that I wasn't able to look away from it for even a second, which says all that needs to be said about ‘the puppet master’.
