Zuko definatley needs some male friends. It's nice to see Sokka and Aang getting along with him, but it seems like Aang was treating Zuko like the "big brother" if you will. It was cute, and I loved it. Zuko didn't seem to mind. But now I want to see some Sokka and Zuko bonding. I'd even like to see him interact more with Haru, The Duke, and Teo. But the Sokka/Zuko bonding thing is a must, and it will be more than funny I would think!
It's never been shown, but I do wonder IF Zuko really had any friends. He's never been shown to, but it doesn't mean he didn't.

^^True, he was probably trying to be a "good Prince" and learn what he could to make himself a great leader. That poor boy is so lonely, I really want so interaction with the rest of the guys now. And I hope he learns from being with Aang and Zuko, the true meaning of friendship.
What I really want to hear, either from Aang or Sokka, are the words "your part of OUR FAMILY now". I wonder how much emotion Zuko would show from that. I wonder how much it would mean to him, he seems to keep himself distanced from the group, it's sad. But that would be so cool to hear one of them say!

Lol, who did the fanart with that in it... ?  It was great.  And since when have we seen him crack a smile wider than... the one he did recently? We might see some true happiness if he got glomped.  (I was kind of hoping one would happen if they find out he saved Appa, but oh well.) |

Anyway, there was a picture drawn of a Gaang group hug including Zuko? Did I see that? I don't remember, could you post a link for it or something, please? I would love to see him happy to be a part of a new loving family. Just seeing Zuko truely happy is all I've ever wanted, so to see it would make me cry..........out of pure joy!  |

I think Zuko and Katara will be together... Sure Zuko attempted to kill Katara. Alot... Burn her village (And any other one the avatar just happen to be in) And yeah he betrayed her in ba-sing-say. But shes a girl, they love bad boys. I mean whats more forbidden than being with a fire nation boy. You guys seen bad Santa? Its like the Jewish girl who grew up being told santa was bad and wrong. Well all that did was make her grow up and have a santa fetish. You see where I'm going with this? Besides, girls always want the guy that will treat them like crap. In the episode where Jet came back, she was all "I HATE YOU!" And "We cant trust him!" Because he betrayed her. But she was sad in the end when he was killed. It seems her old feelings came back when she saw Jet had changed. Well, with Zuko she's acting all "I don't trust you!" and so on. Well, Shes mad at him. But shell get over it, and go to him. Aang is just a little kid. Hes more like a little brother to her. It wont happen. You saw how she acted when he kissed her. She didnt look happy at all. And why has she not brought it up since they left the fire nation? If she felt the same way She would have ran to him to talk about their relationship as soon as they had time. Well She has had plenty of time to do so, so my guess is that she just doesnt want to hurt Aang. And yes, she threatened to kill Zuko if he attempted to hurt Aang. But she didnt protest to let Zuko and Aang go off to a fire nation temple together. Alone. It could have so easily been a trap. She didnt protest one bit. So she has to know Zuko is a better person now. And soon Sparks will fly. and besides, on DBZ Vegeta did ALOT worse things, and Bulma forgave him and bla bla bla... So yeah... I think Zutara could so happen...

^^Anything could happen. But I would just like to say that I don't think Zuko tried to kill Katara ever. At the southern water tribe, he tried to SCARE them into telling him where Aang was, he never actually hurt anyone, and he kept his word and left when aang agreed to go with them. I honestly cannot remember one incident where he actually TRIED to kill any of them. He could've killed them at anytime, but he didn't.
I'm not even sure I'll agree with the whole Ba Sing Sa thing. He NEVER said anything about joining them, Katara saw what she wanted. She thought that he would fight with them, between Iroh, and the whole healing thing(which she ducked out of as soon as Aang showed up). We all thought he'd change sides at that moment.... I did. He didn't actually betray her. He betrayed Iroh, but I don't feel he betrayed Katara, he disappointed her, but I feel betrayed is a wrong word. But I guess if I were Katara, I may feel differently.
p.s. When I first heard "What I've Done" way back in the summer, the first image that popped into my head was Zuko! It just fits him so perfectly, it's my favorite song from Linkin Park! Great song!

Well, as I see it. Katara's death threat shows how much she cares for Aang. Besides that she must have an idea of what Aang feels for her. If she won't let anybody heart Aang, she would be the last one to do just that (not willingly). For that reason I'd soonere see none of the pairings work with katara exept maby kataang (well, as far as this serie goes )

Despite all the Kataang moments that's happened, I still believe in Zutara  Zuko's joining-the-gang gives more chance of Zutara moments! Right now, it doesn't look like much, cuz Katara really feels betrayed and doesn't trust him, but after a while, when they get enough bonding and Katara sees how much Zuko has changed, there just might be a chance^^ I hope im not bashing, but i honestly don't think Kataang makes sense... To me, Katara treats Aang like a little brother and looks out for him. Even if Nick does decide to go with Kataang in the end, I still wouldn't really..well..accept the relationship... but it's only my view |

not bashing, just off-topic... and wrong, but i wont get into that. anyways, you are correct. Zuko being with the gaang does allow for more zutara moments. it also equally adds to the possibility of Zutaang, Toko, Zukka, Zukaru, Zukeo, ZukDuke, and Zukppa moments. ... see what im getting at here? of those, Zukaang and Zukppa have the best foundation for a relationship. |
