Marvel: I saw your edited comment, and Toph raised by badgermoles? I think she's rebellious because of the circumstances surrounding her. If you were suffocated like that, wouldn't you rebel even if you were timid and shy? I don't think her parents were neglective, they were just oblivious. You see things you wanna see after all. Not to mention, you don't really expect a twelve year old to rebel...but then again the Avatarverse is strange...they mature faster than us.

The Avatarverse is a scientific oddity. Just look at the wildlife. Raised by Badger Moles, I should have used the word 'Taught'. I think she raised herself, just hung out more with the diggers rather than people. I notice each nation has a elemental animal for it. The air heads have Sky Bisons, the walking butane lighters have Dragons and the rock chuckers have Badger Moles. The flow masters seem to be up for debate for this. Fish? Flow masters...sounds like a rap group. We can call Katara Flo'Master K. Maylene: Oh yes. Nearly forgot. That was a great pciture you found. Kids being what they are. Just kids. No war, no Avatar duties, no uptight parents. Just kids. Made all the more sweeter as they are who they are. Aang and Toph. |

That's all quite possible. I think a civil Azula would make the world explode....maybe not. Anyways, it's Christmas time! ^_^ Okay, I hear this song on the radio every so often and I just love it! I could easily see this song being sung by Katara about Zuko with Toph in the Background, or with Toph about Aang with Katara in the background. I think it's by the Wilson sisters or somethin'. Awwww.  Uhhhh....the kinda cliche (yet it happens in real life....or at least it did when I went to elementary school) annoymous gift exchange (doesn't necessarily have to be a classroom, could be an event at a party or something) and Toph ends up getting what Aang bought and Aang ends up getting what Toph bought? ::is shot repeatedly:: <-----AU BTW. XD Cuz in the regular Avatar world, like Maylene said, I see parental chaperones. |

Not really an AU per se, it's just written that Christmas is celebrated in the Avatarverse itself. It's a little out of place...but works. Though the Avatar is for all intents and purposes the Jesus of their world already. Buts its Taang. And that's fine in my book. Imagine Toph singing 'Santa Baby' to Aang. That would be...inappropriate for young eyes.

The singer needs to be a little...flirty though for the full effect. Poor Santa. In the Avatarverse he'd be the only guy wearing Fire Nation red in a sea of Northen Water tribe blue. "Santa isn't real. He doesn't exist." "He does. He lives up the street from the Chief. Can't miss him. Only guy wearing red." Iroh used to be a perfect Santa...till he went all South Beach Diet. Aang would make a fine Santa, he's got the personailty and his own flying animals. He just needs the beard and about 80 pounds of jello under his shirt. Toph's an elf or a very grumpy Mrs Claus. |
