I can't stand rap, country, screamy emo, or the death metal type of rock.
Can't we all?
(Well, I have nothing against the people who can.)
Guess I should delve deeper into the music I prefer.
I like all sorts of music, like rock (international and home), classical, and r&b, but above all, my favorite genres are World and New Age. And, to split it up even more, I like Ethno-Electronica, Ambient, and the sort.
Some of my favorite groups/artists/projects along with my favorite song(s) by them:
Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby, Endangered Species, Madazulu, Dignity, Deep Blue Sea Waterbone/Blue Tribe - August Moon/Buddha Bar Enigma - Silence in Shadow; Gravity of Love Dingding Sa - Alive (both the Sanskrit and Mandarin versions) Enya Moya Brennan/Maire Brennan Yoshida Brothers Deepak Chopra Kaya Project - Walking Through The Shanghai Restoration Project - Miss Shanghai; End of the Dynasty Sonic Boutique - Geisha Mondays
Agh! The List is really endless. There's so much to talk about.

Oldies Rock: The Beatles, The Stones, Elvis, NOT QUEEN. 70's/80's Rock: Springsteen, AC/DC Grunge: Kinda. Nirvana's cool, but that's about it. Paleometal: Zep, Sabbath, Smoke on The Water (Deep Purple) is cool. Some Thrash: Metallica is awesome, Megadeth and Anthrax are okay. Slayer's not bad. Post-grunge: Basically everything in rock now. Old punk rock: The Sex Pistols, The Clash. Guilty Pleasure: My Chemical Romance.
Recent obsessions: I've really gotten into blues lately. Robert Johnson, King of Mississippi Delta blues, called grandfather of rock n' roll, B.B. King is good too.
Stuff I can't CAN'T stand:
Recent R&B pop crap. It's awful. 95% of Rap The Police. The Doors Pink Floyd except for Wish You Were Here.
Stuff I inherited (like or dislike) from my Dad:
The Police. The Doors Pink Floyd except for Wish You Were Here. Springsteen The Beatles The Stones Elvis The Clash
