Any of the New Prophecy Warriors series. The original series was good, the second one was messed up and confusing.
And the Harry Potter series.

I can't be the only person who didn't like Twilight. The whole thing was like a bad fanfic to me, from the plot to the writing style to the obnoxious main pairing. Bella Swan was a pretentious Mary Sue (she assumed everyone she came into contact to was shallow, had read all the books in English, blah blah blah) and Edward Cullen's angst about hurting her got old after about the third page--I mean, choose a side and stick to it, please. They were irrevocably in love with each other after having about three conversations. Just...he sparkled.
The major tragedy for me, though, was the fact that I loved the rest of the Cullens a ridiculous amount and they were stuck in a book about two annoying characters. Saaad fact.

Eragon and the Golden Compass, etc. series. Also, I didn't really care for The Gospel According to Larry. I had to read it for school, and the main guy was really annoying. I don't like the tree hugger, obsessed-with-nature type.

I see what you mean, although I did like the book for the most part. It was pretty annoying how they pretty much fell in love right off the bat. But I love the rest of the Cullen family, I don't know why. And for some reason I like Roseline ... (sp) a lot, even though she's barely in it... probably because she seems more real to me, by not accepting Bella with open arms I guess.

I HATE SINGULARITY! It is horrible, its like all this stupid suspense untill the climax and NOTHING HAPPENS!! when we read it in class, everyone was like, that book was so exciting. IT WAS TORTURE READING THAT BOOK! I would just read a line here and read a line there, then i would try to mold it into what the chapter was about, so it didnt seem like i didnt read the whole chapter. I hated it! another book i didnt really enjoy was a time for andrew. It was like snore fest. I hated Wait till Helen Comes. It wasn't scary at all and kids in my class said that it was the scariest book that they had ever read. Yeah, a depressed girl who keeps a secret that (spoiler) she started the fire that killed her mother on accident. And the evil ghost in the end turns out to be GOOD!

Wicked.
It ruins Wizard of Oz. And it's less appropriate than Resident Evil!
