PS1 still holds some of the best game titles of all time and I've been exploring some of my old PS1 games, on account of nostalgia.
My fave PS1 trilogy is Spyro the Dragon. The games are so simple yet fun. And now that I'm smarter, I can actually beat them 100%!!! (Except for the Ripto's Rage; I can't get into Dragon Shores.)
And FFVII is on the PS1. I'm still waiting to borrow that game from my friend.
Anywayz.....

What? Castlevania Symphony of the Night blows FFVII out of the water any day! You've obviously never played it, you uncultured little ingrates.

FFVII wasn't all that good in either plot or graphics. Castlevania, however, hardly had a plot, and it didn't do anything new for the graphics, but it was the best looking PS1 game of it's day. What Symphony of the Night had was excellent gameplay. FFVII was boring! And that's the last I'm saying in this thread because I don't really play PS1 games but for Symphony of the Night.

Your only proving even further the point I made. The two cant be compared.

The Insomniac games Spyro the Dragon and the lesser-known Disruptor were some of my faves, as was Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot games.

I liked Crash Bandicoot but I was so bad at it. My dad had to beat some levels for me and he did them with no problems at all.
