*rolls back*
Hmm, she might not be satisfied with palace life...but they do need to settle if they had kids. It would be so much easier on them if they settled then.

YAYY!! My first new catacomb! This is exciting! *throws tons of Zutara confetti Hmmm... I don't see Katara staying in the South Pole permently either. She might live there for a short time, but she will end up being bored... haha I know that I would

Welcome SuperSexyBeastie! =D Glad you came to the warroom catacombs! <3 Oh, I'm guessing she would. IMHO, the South Pole isn't as exciting as the FN would be, seeing as it is rather excluded geographically, whereas the FN is smack in the middle. OMGICON: I want you all to steal it. And use it to represent Zutara pride or whatnot. Use it as your second, so we can be like...unified...xD

For those of you who are not enjoying the season so far, there's no indication that the issues you're discussing are the fault of the creative team. Since the show is a corporate product, it has to bend to the politics of the studio. If, for example, they thought they had six seasons to tell their story, and the studio said "No, we're not renewing, wrap it up in three," then I'm glad we've gotten as cool a show as we have. If you're completely dead set against enjoying it, then there is probably nothing I could say right now that could convince you, and reading your complaints is saddening me.
Regardless of the artform involved, I try to go into concerts, art shows, plays or whatever as completely open as I can, with no expectations. It isn't always easy to do that, but like many things, it improves with practice. I chose to do things that way years ago, after I got fed up with being bitterly disappointed when something didn't meet up to my expectations. If I did want something that measured up... I would just have to make it myself.
And every time I do, I am reminded of how easily we fall short of even our own goals and dreams. We have no right to judge others. We are certainly able to say "I don't like this," or "I don't like that," according to our own preference, but to unequivocally say "It sucks" of another person's creation is not only something that we wouldn't like to hear said about our own work, but also displays a rather restricted viewpoint.
If any of us had worked on another project on the scale of this one... we'd have a little more respect.

Aside, If you look well. Myke is a Lot like Aang there and Brian like Zuko XD...+ Im thinking about bonus XD. So, thats was why i thought of it funny n_n. based too in this: rociocrush.deviantart.com/art/Bryan-and-Mike-Like-them-XD-64344118

ah...ok!!
Well, yea, season 3 for now looks really boring...all is filler and not good respect to the last season about development in the personages.. Still; we will see whats going on...
I know, I hope, that they are thinking....

Bad in the story XD??--- well... yea, pretty much. Without offense. Doesn't help the personage of Zuko at all and he is just there acting as a pop star in the palace. And in the sense of bad-bad...Is not a competition for zutara XD-- So, blah lol--- So...guys??... Any Zutara topic?

The only thing that's bad about Maiko is the way it came to be. And the way it's continuing. There's nothing to it besides corny lines and kisses every second. And that icon is just a silly joke. Most people, even the Maikos, know that the ship didn't start out right in this new season.
@chibi: You're right, taking that into consideration won't really change my mind about the show. I'm not being close-minded or a jerk (and I'm not saying you were insinuating it XDF) but I'm just stating how I feel.

@chibi: I see what you're saying, but my whole purpose in starting the discussion was to get to the bottom of why so many of us are disappointed. My studies are very much about storybuilding and like I said, I'm obsessed right now with 'organic' storytelling. I am also always quick to point out that there have been some great moments, but overall I feel it needs to be said that season 3 is not living up to the promise of the first two. And it looks to me like some elementary steps were ignored in the process of creating this particular season. There's almost no rerun episode of Avatar that I turn off (even Great Divide LOL), but I really don't think I'll be able to sit through The Awakening, The Painted Lady, or The Beach in the future. Even playing in the background they may be too annoying. And yes, that makes me sad too. It's not like I'm reveling in this feeling. All that said, I'll try to rein in the hyperbole. It's a problem of mine that I tend to overstate the dire circumstances of season three ... oops, I just did it again, didn't I? But most important of all to me is the hair. While I'm not on the edge of my seat for new epis anymore, I do look forward to the weekly festival of follicles.
