I saw the pilot eppie and fell in love with the show. I love Aang's laugh first and foremost, but the animation, and plot is what got me. Zuko is deffinately one of the main reason's I watch it but he's not the only reason. I love Sokka, Iroh and Toph as well, they too keep me comming back. The plot has never lost momentum and I still love the anamation, even though it's better in some eppies than others.
Zuko's not the only reason I love the show, he is a big part of it though, I love his character. Everyone has a favorite, nothing wrong with that. But sometimes, we do tend to go to extremes.

I have to admit I have bad-boy-its. I've always ended up liking bad characters over good characters
Itachi-Naturo Sesshoumaru- Inuyasha Hiei- Yuske Zuko- Aang Even.. Azula-Katara
I guess to me the "bad guy" is sometimes more complex than the good guy and they can always surprise you somehow. wither it be that you don't know why they were evil, they are not completely evil just confused or just somehow more interesting than the most of the time goodie goodie hero.
My friend is the opposite she thinks bad guys are cowards and always likes the hero most of the time.
But the way I see it is who the hero and villan is depends on who's side your reading

Me...I go for the broody loner...or the flippant joker that tries (usually unsuccessfully) to cheer him up...so I guess for me it's all about Zuko and Sokka...I so wish they could be allies so we could see them interact...it would be comic gold

^^That it would be!!! I honestly can't wait to see the two of them interact, if they do. I am also anxious to see Toph's reaction to Zuko. She doesn't have the reason's to hate him like the others, and she is closer to Iroh than the others. I also can't wait to see Katara a little less, well, nicey and trusting of everyone.
But yeah definately, Zuko and Sokka, comedy to the fullest. Really that is the only thing relating to Zuko I feel I really want to see. The rest, I feel, well, not so good about.

Actually I'm most interested in seeing him interact with the Dangerous Ladies

^Ok yeah I forgot about them, I really did. I seriously cannot wait to see him and Ty Lee. He may spontaneously combust or something. I think that would be as funny as Sokka and him.

^Honestly, I try not to think about them. Mai is just boring, Ty Lee is too bubbly, and Azula, well I'm not going there. I just don't care for them, although I know they are essential to the plot, I just try to focus on the others.

I have no interest in Zuko's interactions with Ozai's Angels...but I think everyone knows that. I want to see him on his own so he can sort things out without Azula OR Iroh's opinions tickling his ear...

Being alone within the Fire Nation, seeing how the war is effecting his own people, will hopefully have an even more profound effect on him...if it happens...which, given my track record of the writers taking things in the direction that interest me, is unlikely...

Please don't use the word 'hate'...it only leads to retaliation (especially from the touchier fans)...and as a mod I tire of placating the feuding hoards... And I don't think there's a person here that claims Zuko's the sole reason for the show's success...everyone is somebody's favourite, and it is the unique flavour of each that makes the show what it is...it would be a lesser program if any one of them wasn't present. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off so condescending and rude. I'll make sure I never do it again. --- And I do hope that going home gives Zuko an epiphany. His decision disappointed me, and I hope he listens to Iroh.

I'm excited to see him interact with Ozai's Angels. My top three favorite characters are Zuko, Mai, and Ty Lee so this should be fun. They all have such vibrant personalities that it will be interesting to see what happens.

Ty Lee's the only one of that trio that I'd describe as vibrant...

Maybe Aibhill meant "vibrant" in the sense of having realistic, three-dimensional personalities. (I know it could be said that Mai and Ty Lee are a bit steroetypical, but i don't think they're 2-D characters.) I agree, it will be interesting to see Zuko interact with them. (Actually, i've been somewhat looking forward to seeing him and Mai together for the first time outside of flashbacks...all things considered. *suspects she's given herself away as being a slight Maiko shipper* lol) But yes, it would be great to see Zuko and Sokka interact! I hope we get to see that, even if Zuko doesn't join the gaang...
