@ana: Oh yes, I ship Tui and La without equating them to any other pair. ;D That's true Yin and Yang for you!! Tui/La =/= anyotherpair. Everytime I see 'opposites attract' I automatically think 'dominant/submissive'. Heck, whenever I see 'opposites attract' in ATLA fandom, what pops into my mind is 'very out of character' sadly... Re Elements: Air and Water are compatible. Anyone with a passing knowledge of any elemental system knows that. But the truth is, Air and Fire are more compatible.... *ahem* Which means Aang and Zuko are going to be friends! But seriously, since Avatar uses the four element system, it follows that the compatible pairs are Air/Fire and Earth/Water. And it's funny that they're glossing over the fact that in ANY elemental system, Fire and Water are next to each other in the DESTRUCTIVE cycle. Water kills Fire. As far as the elements go, it's as simple as that. Which is why I wonder WHY the heck are they so intent on using Zuko and Katara's elements to support their ship when, like nearly every other piece of Zutara 'evidence' I've seen, it just weakens the ship.

If only all Zutarians who supported that opposite stuff would read your post Mille, then they would be just like "oh".

That's an interesting post you got there and you are probably right about the fact that opposites would be destructive in the classical four elements theory alone, but you forget that most people are combining it with YingYang philosophy, which was mentioned pretty often throughout the series, thus taking the normaly destructive aspect from them as Ying and Yang support each other, because of their diffrences. Just like Tui and La you metioned back there, although considering their supernatural nature it would be pretty much impossible to find somebody, who is as perfect for Tui as La.^^

But enough of Yin and Yang. So...is it time to make a new war room?
