Cinno looked at the recent happenings, snorted at the foolishness and arrogance of both parties, and sauntered back to his chair. Now that he thought about it, he hoped that both sides would be punished for the incident; as much as he loved a good fight, these two were doing more tough talking and smart a**ing than fighting. He, himself, knew he was immune from anything other than a stern talking to for leaving his seat. The other two, however, had actually slung words at each other.
As he sat down, he wondered what would happen next...

Leah watched the argument unfold through her curtain of dark brown hair. I definitly don't want to get involved in this. She tried to remain inconspicuous, and not to attract any attention that could drag her into the fight. When Tula went back to her seat, Leah gazed at the scorch marks left my her feet. I have to remember not to get any of the firebenders here mad. Looks as though they get angry pretty quickly.

Cinno got to doodling, as nothing was really going on, but then he realized that doodling interested him about as much as being kicked where the sun don't shine. He glanced around the room at the various other students, hoping one of them would be more intersting than staring at the blank page or waiting for the teacher to finish whatever he was doing.
"What a professor...can't even stop a fight AND he's too nervous to get anything started.

Ziarre watched the whole thing. Some one would have to teach this earthbending twit a lesson. Ah well, as long as he didn't bother her, she wasn't very worried. How ever... That waterbender, Cinno, was eventually going to get hurt. She had to admire his spirit though. Ziarre shook her head, bangs swaying slightly. The teacher on the other hand would do more good if he took a leave of absence. At least then he would have a replacement. Even though, Ziarre would give him a chance to redeem himself. She continued watching intently, trying to gather as much information as possible from her classmates body language and demeanors as she possible could.

Tula had managed to calm down and was starting to regret her actions, not expecting to live until weapons class, she opened her eyes and looked around, noticing the scorched spot and wincing, mentally cursing herself for loosing it like that, but there was no use crying over spilt bison milk, so it was probably best to just watch herself around the earthbender for a while

Suddenly, Cinno became aware that he was being watched. Bored as ever, he turned around and noticed Ziarre's gaze. Perhaps it had been unintentional to look his way, but he really wasn't sure; as he had learned many times in the past, women are strange creatures.
This one, however, seemed more intent on studying people than anything else. That interested him a bit, if it was a little weird. For this moment, he met her gaze to see her reaction. If she was going to observe him, he was going to do the same right back; it was too fun to pass up...

Ziarre watched her classmates intently. That is, until she saw Cinno watching her. His gaze unnerved her for some reason. She'd much rather remain unnoticed. She opened her notebook, and began to doodle something.

He smiled and turned back around, noting her rather nervous response to his look. Perhaps she was one of the shy ones?
However, judging by what he had seen of her so far, she was a nice person. He decided to talk to her sometime; he hadn't seen too much of her in his time at the Center.
Then he rotated around again and faced her (she was only a couple seats away), before beginning to talk to her, "You seem rather distracted and bored...is that why you're staring at people?"

Ziarre jerked backward. Did he just talk to her?! She just nodded in reply, glad her wide, surprised eyes were hidden by her bangs. Ziarre had no intention of letting him find out why she was distracted. There was no way some, young, bold, kid of a waterbender would break her shell.

Her lack of a verbal response emboldened him, "What? You don't talk very much?" Curiosity had overwhelmed the perimeter of control his mind usually had. Back where he came from, there weren't that many people that spoke little. Most of the folks at the North Pole were outspoken, so the silence of this female bothered him a bit. Perhaps he could get her to speak. It seemed a bit stupid to try, considering this girl could think he was some lower class scum or something, but he was giving it a go, nonetheless.

Ziarre glanced up at Cinno with a slightly poisonous glare. She shook her head no. Why are you pursuing it? She thought.

"All right, all right." Cinno couldn't really go very much farther, though he was going to try a bit more, "You don't talk, I get it." Something about her excited him a little bit.
It took him several seconds to gather up the courage to query, "Why don't you talk?" His interest just wouldn't die. He knew that said interest (just like his habit annoying, and trying to get in the way of, Soba) would probably get him in trouble, sooner or later...

Ziarre raised an eyebrow, "Why should I? A simple yes or no should be a good enough answer." she snapped. This boy's curiosity would be the death of him.

That question caught him a bit off guard, "You should because..." He was drawing a blank. In all honesty, he didn't know why she should talk, if she didn't want to.
He was bold and just foolish enough to speak once again, though, "Because, people like it when you show them your good side. Heck, I like the side your showing me now," He paused, "not that it's...er...yeah." He'd be kicking himself for that one, later.
