Ziarre raised her eyebrow a fraction higher, shook her head, and said somthing so quietly it was almost a whisper, "You couldn't get close to me anyway. Why should it matter?" Talking was good because it showed her good side... she didn't want to show any sides to anyone. Ever. It just hurt too much.

His keen ears caught most of the near whisper, "It should matter because you shouldn't be afraid of talking to anyone anywhere; that's not right." His conviction strengthened his voice. Meanwhile, his concern and curiosity redoubled; this girl must have been through a lot if she would put up so much resistance before actually speaking AND would barely speak once she had decided to leave the safety of silence.

"I'm not afraid to talk to anyone!" Ziarre snapped, her temper flaring. "You don't know anything about me, where I come from, who I am! And then you try to fix me?!" She snorted out a ball of flame. "You fool." she said with enough venom to kill a full-grown badger mole.

Leah's eyes widened as she heard the conversation behind her. I have to remember not to make her mad. An unstable roomate would definitly not be good. She turned her attention back to her notebook, which was now covered in small doodles. Why isn't the teacher starting already? she thought impatiently.

Cinno drew back and turned around with a quickly spoken, "All right, all right! Chill!"
"Jeez! Grandmother was right about the path to Heck being paved with good intentions..." He made a note to apologize to her later, if she would everlook his way again without a glare. Meanwhile, making up waterbending moves to practice (later, of course) while the teacher was idle sounded like a great idea.

Soba burried himself in hole and fell asleep.

Tai grew bored of sitting in class, doing nothing. He began fidgiting in his seat, as if he were trying to find a comfortable spot and his eyes wandered restlessly over every person and object in the room. Unconsiously, he twirled a pencil in his fingers which caused a steady flow of air to blow the hair of the girl sitting in front of him (aka Leah). He hardly noticed, however, and rested his head on his other hand with a sigh.

Leah was growing impatient. When she felt the air blowing her hair, she didn't really care much. Is this how we're going to waste the entire class? she wondered. The flow of air grew stronger, and she pulled her long dark hair over her left shoulder, not bothering to see where the air was coming from. Leah then leaned foward and rested her head in her arms. She hadn't slept well, being that it had been the first night at the school. Her eyes started to close, but she forced them to stay open, not wanting to fall asleep in her first class.

Tula was now tapping her sharp nails on the desk, waiting for the teacher to start is this what it's going to be like all period?
She fell to what she usually did when bored, she drew the dull dagger on her leg and took a polishing cloth out of her belt pouch and started rubbing the cloth over the blade of the dagger, wishing that she could have more contact with her parents than the letters ruby could ferry, and making a mental note to bring a cell phone next year

Since the teacher had left the room and not come back for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time, Cinno got bored. He quickly decided that the rules of Daisuke's classroom didn't mean squat right now, especially the one about no talking. Feeling that he couldn't possibly get in trouble, he turned to Leah and said, "Hey, Leah, what's up?" If boredom hadn't strangled her and fear of the consequences of breaking the rules hadn't silenced her, she would reply...

Leah blinked sleepily. "Huh?" She lifted her head off the desk and turned around to look at Cinno. "Nothing much, I guess. It's only the first day," She replied quietly. "What about you?"

"Just trying not to tick too many more people off." Cinno smirked, both knowing full well that he loved to annoy Soba and do anything to get in that crazy dude's way, "Other than that, I'm doing very well and having fun; I think I'm going to like this place." While he had only truly annoyed two people while he was here, it felt like too many; he couldn't just solve his problems here by doing silly things or getting into fights.
