Saw it and loved it. My heart did break a little upon actually seeing that Aang and the others (except Katara) are dead and it was actually harder than expected for me to get over the death of fictional characters since they were such a huge part of me for such a long time (still are). Avatar really got me through the tough transitional period of my awkward pre/early teen years, and it taught me to actually enjoy writing which is what I'm studying in college now so I'm sure it'll always hold a very special place in my heart. But ANYWAYS. I was afraid that because of my attachment to Aang I wouldn't be able to love Korra the same, but that didn't prove to be an issue, thankfully ^^. I'm very excited to see what happens next, especially with Tenzin and his adorable family lol. Can't wait to meet Mako and Bolin either. Do we know if the next episode is coming out on April 21st? (A week after the 14th) I can't wait x).

*OHMYGODSPAZZDIE.* I think this is the first time ever that an "avatar" episode has come out sooner than expected!! Made my month to hear this news!

Ahhh, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to check around on here! Since Dongbufeng announced today that they're taking down their spoilers, can someone fill me in on what exactly was revealed? I know Toph and Katara are alive, what about the other characters?

Ghaaa, adorable! I think they'll keep Sukka, they really made it seem like Sokka and Suki were supposed to have their happy ending in the finale, and that scene in Secret of the Fire Nation where they kiss after Sokka realizes it's okay to love someone other than Yue always resonated with me. It seems like they're supposed to stay together. They're also a good balance, I think. While Toph and Sokka both have a dominant "childish" side, Suki is sort of Sokka's foil. She brings out his mature, serious side, which I think is important. Also, I was on ff.net, and stumbled across this: www.fanfiction.net/s/7712395/1/Relief and in the author's note they talk the promise like they know what the promise *is.* I know fanfiction isn't necessarily a reliable source, but I was just curious, do we know anything about that yet? And was that preview from p1 or p2? **Nevermind, I figured it out. The whole part one was just leaked on 4chan

Okay, this is sort of a dumb question, but when they say quarterly, that means a new part of the story every 3 months until all four are out, right? Like, 4 publications a year?

@nandi: Ooh, that's a good theory. God though, I hope those different parts of the comics aren't gonna be released like, 6 months apart :/. That would be awful.

Ahhh, I could explode with excitement right now! That's less than 6 months away . I think it's likely that the rest of the world might try to over-punish the Fire Nation for the war which will result in hostility between all and maybe the Fire Nation striking back if they're tired of being blamed. Oh my. What's really killing me though is not knowing how much of the 70 in between years this will cover. Can't wait to find out.

I just thought of something last night. There was that uncomfirmed rumor for a while that Aang & Katara's other two children were waterbenders, but back in the original ATLA, didn't Bryke at one point confirm that all air nomads are benders? I seem to remember them saying something like that, but I can't recall clearly enough to know if it was fact or just one of the many rumors >.<. Anyways, do you think that still applies when an air nomad marries another kind of bender or not? 'Cuz that would mean all of Aang's kids are airbenders....hmm.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. But it always makes me a little sad to know that my fantasies for the series can't ever possibly be fulfilled by the show. Then again, I can't imagine anything so horrible happening in it that it would ruin everything I wanted to happen. Do the creators take a part in writing it or is Dark Horse a completely separate thing?

Ooh, okay :/. This gives me sorta mixed feelings. On one hand, more Avatar is almost always good, but on the other I also hope it doesn't go too far into the future because I sort of like to have something left for me to imagine myself and for people to write fanfics about and stuff. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though.

Oh boy . I just came across this and I have so many questions. I never actually read the comics so I have no idea what they're all about. Are they considered to be cannon? Also, this post Season 3 thing coming out in 2012, is it also a comic book? Will that be cannon? I

tg: I have no doubt there will be surprises considering this *is* bryke ^^. And with HP, JK didn't write another book about the kids' adventures, so we don't really know where that would've gone (though I'm with you, I sorta see it as being repetitive) @nandi: Yeah. I'm sure we'll see something of Zuko's descendants if not Sokka and Suki's though. They are the heirs to the fire nation throne, so I'm pretty sure they'll be mentioned at some point, but like you said, they can't reveal everything at once. (I like your sprites btw ^^)

I doubt Toph's daughter will be on the evil side. I can see her being either annoyed with Korra and her friends but not actively trying to imprison them or anything. I can definitely see her being torn and ultimately siding against the Equalists, but I can also see her being on Korra's side from the beginning because of a *possible* mutual friendship with Tenzin or something. I'm pretty sure the Gaang would have stayed close and let their kids play together & stuff, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were close.

I think If any of the antagonists have any relation to Azula it would kind of be a cop out. And it wouldn't fit the direction of the show. If i'm correct there is supposed to be an anti-bender sentiment among the populace. If this turns out to be true I could see a villain being anti-bender and not belong to a fire bending or any type of bending family. That's what I'm thinking. Azula loved power, and I highly doubt that if she had kids it would be with a "nice guy" or a nonbender. If her kids/grandkids were in the series, I doubt they'd be against the idea of bending, considering Azula lived for it. I agree more with the idea that the new villains might be a group of people from different nations, considering United Republic is supposed to be a melting pot.
