My parents are okay with it, I mean my mom used to watch the new episodes with my brother and I every Friday. lol. Before I started watching it alone so I could spazz & scream at the screen. XD

I tend not to let my parent get involve in stuff of my likeing, they tend to ask a ton of question and forget about the next day and repeat the process over again.

My parents haven't really watched it that much, but they know I like it. I think my mom likes Avatar better than Naruto though. She thinks Naruto's weird and always leaves the room when I ask her if I can watch it in there. XD For some reason though, my dad calls Avatar Abatar. Whenever I'm watching an anime he'll ask me if I'm watching Abatar. It's so funny!

I don't know if they think I watch it... My dad doesn't like to watch it, but I bet he doesn't mind me watching it. My mom thinks its just some show on nickelodeon. By the way, the icon tricked me too! D:

Cool is an understatement. My mother loves avatar, you should hear her...when she cleans the house I can clearly pick out, "Badger moles..." In between her humming. XD

^ There is another way of getting avatar eppies into your Ipod without begging your parents My parents like avatar. At least for me they do. My dad is usually annoying with tv shows and makes embarrasing sounds when something important is happening. But with avatar he is completely quiet. I think they've seen too much avatar lately since they're starting to use the "-bending" for everyday things like broombending, dirtbending and breathbending . Also they keep asking for the next airing date. When I tell them that it's incognito they think I'lm lying and keeping the goodies to myself

My parents are so-so about ATLA. They know I love it, but they don't watch it much. My dad actually started out hating it when I first watched it. (And he kept insisting it was japanese. >_>) But, now he doesn't mind so much. I have even had conversation with him about how Nick is being stupid and trying to kill the show by not airing it or commercials for it. He can't understand it because it grosses such high ratings. How he knew that, I don't know. lol I think he has watched it a little or read about it on his own. I threatened to make him watch a DVD marathon with me recently and he wasn't nearly as against it as before. Still against it... just not as much. I'm wearing him down. Mom watched a few episodes with me from the different seasons. She listens to me talk about it and she has gotten to the point where she can differentiatie between characters(she loves Sokka), but she hasn't shown any interest in seeing season 3 at all, so I dunno. My Grandmother, who lives with us, is as into the show as I am. She has even seen up to The Firebending Masters with me. And is actually curious as to when the show will return. She also came to the same shipping preferences as me(without any proddding ), so I can talk her ear off about that, too. My family is Catholic and I am fairly into the Church, personally, but I know my religion has nothing against fantasy that doesn't lead you toward actually practicing magic/satanism/anything sinful like violence, etc. So, that isn't really a problem for me or my house. Sorry about you predicament though, +Javu+.

Does it count if you and your husband are the parents and you love Avatar and it was your kid's fault you became addicted in the first place? LOL Pro-Avatar household here. We're all hardcore Avatar fans.

My mom likes it. She's actually the one who got me into Avatar. She told me about, but I didn't want to watch it, because I thought it would be stupid (and I was totally wrong). Anyways, she would tell me about the eps, and kinda kept bugging me, until I finally said that I would watch it just to get her off my back, and I liked it (which she said "I told you so")
My mom still watches it, and it's nice watching it with her...though I do get looks from her when I yell and stuff out of happiness.

My mum actually started out hating it. She was one of those parents who every one of my friends knew not to mention "The A-Word" around ("Avatar" was the metaphoric equivalent of a cuss word. *laughs*). Yes, that's how bad it was. However, my entire family watched the season three opener together and she actually took a liking to it. I was shocked. I'm just glad I can actually say Avatar out loud within the confines of my own home!

Well, the first time I was watching avatar, they were talking about reincarnation and in my religious beliefs, we believe in reincarnation as well. And if you remember the episode with the "The guru" and the chakras, we also believe in that. Also, we meditate at my house to reach enlightenment. Us too And my mom is a kataang fan
