At least they get girl action figures Even if it is bootleg if this were a anime then we would get all the characters men and women......of course the girls might be a bit.........bigger.......

There would be a huge number of fillers in between the actual story arcs. Oh wait...

Trust me, you have not seen huge numbers of fillers until you have watched true anime.

True anime has a point most of the time. Sometimes it's hard to see it if it lasts a long time. But with just about every anime, with very few exceptions, there will be fillers.

I know all of you are going bash me for saying this, but I don't care. Ima gonna say it anywho.
Well, Avatar isn't an anime, but it's becoming dangerously close to becoming one. Cuz, if any of you haven't noticed, All of this skin revealing on Katara - along with the other Toph and other Fire Nation Girls - is becoming very similar to fanservice.
Why do I say this? Because they never showed this much skin in the previous seasons. And mind the younger members, but they over-exagerated Ty-Lee's over all figure waaay too much in this season. If you look at her figure in the second season, and Ty-Lee in this season, I don't think that I will need to reiterate myself.

Katara's skin wasn't revealed that much, in this season she exsposed the most skin is when in the beach she wore her bathing suit, which she also wore in the 1st and 2nd season. Toph didn't expose too much skin either. You gotta point with the firenation girls

^ Yeah, but couldn't part of that be that the previous seasons took place in winter and spring? The third season is taking place in summer (hence Book Fire), so we can reasonably assess that the "fan-service" is due to the change in weather.

(shown in anime for surprise) ^ kind of self explanatory.... come on... little hearts..... the classic anime sweatdroplets.... self explanatory.... personally i think the creators shouldn't have done these things....it sort of makes ppl think avatar is trying to be an anime hypocrite..... but i guess it might add to the show for funny/surprising purposes... doesn't really bother me though... until they over-do it...

An animated depiction of a fourteen year old girl such as Ty-Lee does not need a bust or hips as big as hers are this season.

Come on, you think that's bad? Compared to most animes Ty Lee's slightly overdeveloped body is nothinig. Heck maybe she just matured early, that's perfectly feasible. If Avatar actually was doing things the way most animes do, we would be seeing waaaay more skins and bouncing actions. And we all know that there's absolutely no bouncing action in Avatar.
Seriously, I have not seen a single anime where they didn't show a close-up/slow-mo on a bouncing action. Sup with that.

I've missed several episodes this season so I don't know what other moments there are.

Avatar was influenced by anime, yes.
But know where anime came from? Disney. Anime is influenced by the original Disney art style.
I've seen plenty of American cartoons use silly facial expressions to represent extremes in emotion. Anime just tends to go overboard with it. Avatar using it is no big deal.
