Wow, watching this again, it really grounds in how badly Haru was portrayed. First they give him mustache to make him look older or more mature, for reasons that baffle me, then the only way they think of to get rid of him is have him going to play rock baseball with the crew.
Why did they have you join the gaang Haru, if they were just going to have you do nothing but go to recess all day?

Well, I am really glad I got to see this on tv. Although I still thought the writing was weak. I was happy when Haru left. I loved him in the first episode he appeared in, but his mustache was going to drive me insane.

Same for Teo and The Duke (no, he is in fact, not a duck), I mean, what did they do anyway? The only things I can think of are The Duke offering Toph his helmet, and Teo looking cool driving a tank . . .
BTW, it feels great to finally see an Avatar episode on Nick, and that new trailer was spiffin' too!

@ktisuneopal: It was for me. And it was hell, but I managed. (Haha. I guess I figured out why not many members flocked to the site on the U.S. airdate: everybody saw it already. )

They might as well been captured as prisoners of the Fire Nation. Haru's father just got out of a freaking prison camp and now he is probably imprisoned again and they have Haru (and his little mustache too) going to go play. *grumbles about Season 3 being a OOC cheesefest*

I just think the story was more about the four main guys and Zuko...the rest was just like in that scene with combustion man...just background.

Not to mention the fact that they let Teo's dad, the dude who invented freaking everything for both sides of the war (from subs to near-invincible tanks to the airships that completely destroyed said subs and near-invincible tanks) simply surrender.
Man, if we're being realistic and the Mechanist isn't simply going to comply to building war machines for the FN, then he's in for a nasty torture session . . .

I agree about Haru, Teo and The Duke. What's the point? Couldn't they have been dropped off some place else? Or anything other than the awkward sweep away they got. Ugh! Xp

They are going to be dropped off at some random place, actually, to be more specific, its Ba Sing Se, someone still has to liberate it, why not them, and another ragtag group of fighters.....I mean I think half of the freedom fighters, Jeong Jeong posse, Swampy tribe people, not to mention OWL is still out there.

Too bad the Swamp Benders (the last Waterbenders aside from Pakku's students) presented themselves to the FN on a silver platter to be done with as Ozai pleases. If TPM (thats the Puppet Master, not the Phantom Menace) is any indication, I say they're in for a heck-load of torture as well . . .

Weren't there other swamp benders besides Huu, Tho, Due. I mean if I recall they were the only three that took part in the invasion, and I'm positive there are more than 3 people in the foggy swamp tribe, not only that but they didn't even show the women of the tribe.
I agree about the torture, I don't know how fair bryan and mike will go to hint or indicate it, but in a realistic world, I think Teo's dad will probably get the worse treatment, since he is the most valuable person in the group of prisoner. Then again urgg....I can't spoil it but boiling rock prisoners.......I think maybe things has gotten more lenient over the years?

I've got to admit I liked this one a lot. The best part was definitely Zuko's rehearsal, and Iroh/Azula imitations. You must look inside yourself so that you can defeat your other self which used to be yourself so that you can defeat your other self and your good self can become yourself."
