There will be no more bashing of music in this thread or in this forum.
Thank you.
I love some rap. I can't stand most of the stuff on the radio or anything that came out of the gangsta genre, but I like the more melodic rap (like Fort Minor) and genre-bending experimental rap (like Handsome Boy Modelling School).

Ugh, I can't stand rap. You can't even understand what they're saying half the time.

Like who? I can't understand the hardcore rap, but unless you mean the lyrics, rappers speak pretty clearly.

^^^I was being a jackazz. I hear what you saying, especially right now. The rap game is real weak, and meaningless. The subject matter has always been how people live in the "hood". I like rap because I can relate to ALOT of the stuff they speak on. It all depends on how you take in the lyrics.

Rap can be about all sorts of stuff, not just "da hood" . Chibi, you're probably not listening to the right rap. The words are all understandable in all the rap I listen to. And honestly...incomprehensible singing (like most things criticized in rap) isn't unique to rap. You can't understand the words in many rock songs too.

Gangsta, Crunk & B, those types. 50 Cent or like a T-Pain. T-Pain is more clubbish/rnb oriented than Gangsta. 50 Cent(allegedly),Snoop Dogg, etc. they are part of the Gangsta Rap group. While actually most of them are wannabes

yeah thats true, btu they can still exploit it and 50 cent got shot 9 times so he isn't a wannabe. you look at tupac or eazy e and they weren't wannabees either. adn besides there is no such thing as posing in ym group they should be able to rap about whatever they want

^^^^Man, I have heard some junk about Eazy-E. He wasn't as gangsta as he thought he was. Yeah, when I said T-Pain I was referring to his older music, when he just rapped. Whats annoying to me is how ROCk fans tell me that rap music is a bad influence on the culture.

Eazy was in cahoots with a drug lord named Rick Ross. not the rapper Rick Ross the guy he is named after. Eazy E ap about crack for Rick Ross who gave him money. the money Rick Ross got for Eazy rapping about it was used to fund partisans in Nicaragua.

And Tupac went to Arts school in the East with Jada Pinkett-Smith,he wasn't born gangsta he was made gangsta. I think Eazy was real.
