I remember the Messenger ... a little I've read Gathering Blue but I can't remember it XD I do remember they made me sad too though Brave New World made me sad Gathering Blue was about that girl with the handicap whose parents died in a fallen utopia. Everyone lived in the woods and she found out she was destined to be a person who embroidred history onto this cloak that talked about the fall of the human race. WOW, that was a run-on. The Messanger was about her going to the place were all the cripples destined to be eaten by the 'monsters' were. Thats's where the guy from The Giver and Noah lives. SPOILER: In the end the main character who finds out he will be a "messsanger" dies. That's all I can remember. EDIT: Repetative smilies....

Molo'kai was REALLY good I liked that and I was sad through most of it didn't cry. But yea the part with the kids dying and stuff in The Joy Luck Club was sad Still the book that always make me cry is Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life by Clay Aiken.

I can't believe nobody's ever mentioned Ptolemy's Gate yet!!!
Ptolemy's Gate by Jonathan Stroud: It's the last book of the trilogy and it was great till the very end. This is the only book in the entire trilogy that made me want to cry. It wasn't just the ending that was sad either. There were a few REALLY sad moments.
The Warriors series by Erin Hunter was sad too (well, the second series was the saddest). SPOILER!!! (all the characters had to leave everything behind and move to a new place.)
The ending of Firewing by Kenneth Oppel kind of left me depressed also.
Other than those, there was nothing that made me really sad.

Ryan White. That book made me cry so much. The guy had AIDS and a bunch of stuff happened in his life that was so sad. EX. Born with Hemophilia and all the kids/adults making fun of him. The dream that he had touched my heart. And it's a true story.

I cried during Deathly Hallows. But I sobbed even harder when I finished it.

I'm trying to remember this book I read that made me sad... it had something to do with roses and a little boy who lived across the street from this lady that seemed to just hate children but... I don't know I don't think I'm going to remember, unless someone recognizes it...
I shed a tear or two in a certain part of Deathly Hallows
