I didn't really think it took much longer than the standard level up system from 7 or 8. I actually thought it was easier, and maybe a little faster.

I didn't think X took that long with leveling up aside from gaining XP in some cases..

The sphere grid was something different. I liked it after I figured out how to use it.
And the Real Emotion song from X-2 I kind of liked, along with 1000 Words (perhaps the only good things about X-2 besides the dressphere system).

Spheres - Meh. I'll take the FFIX system or the License System over the Sphere Grid any day.
I'm a sucker for the classic version, I admit.

The spheres were really easy to get. The only thing about FFX is during the end of the game, you have to equip all this status proof armor that you didn't need before. And for every major boss, you had to level up a whole lot, if you hadn't already.

Seymour Flux was a b****.
I liked FFX's boss battles though. They were more strategic than in the previous FFs.

I absolutely love love love FFVIII. There is just something enamoring being able to fall in love with someone you found annoying and borderlined hated. But that also scares the s#*t out of me.

I loved FFVII, and I'll love it even more when I beat it. XD The worst part is that it depresses you for a bit until they throw in some random funny thing, usually courtsy of Cid or Yuffie. I also like FFVIII, but it was a bit boring and a tad too long.

Hm...I heard that there were rumors of FFVII being remade on the PS3.
Does anyone know if that's true?

^ There's fans who're signing a petition about that on the Web.
*Revives the thread*
I now have XII, and I must say, it's good. What I don't like about it, though, is the fact that the Feywood and the Cavern (both have side Espers) have high-level monsters. (Around 37-ish for the Cavern, over 40 for the Feywood.) But my characters are getting in the 30s now. *sigh*
Unfortunately, I have the first two storyline Espers. Not fun. On top of that, the License Points are so low... ><
