That what I mean...for Aang to solve that conflict...he had to step out his comfort zone...Heroes have to be able to do that...and in this episode...he does...

But he hasn't ever had to solve anything like that again. I say that episode was a horrible display of the Avatar's power over people.

Yeah its that and how Aang is willing to bend the rules a little to get the job done...which isn't ALWAYS a bad thing..

But it's such an abuse of power!! And Katara complimented him for it!! If the ep wasn't filler, she'd be scolding him. And she and Sokka took sides so easily.
FILLER.

I think that the most usless episodes are:
1) The Great Divide 2) Avatar Day 3) Half of you are going to shoot me for this, but... The Fortune Teller.
See, in the Fortune Teller, there was pretty much just fluff and over-blown power displays. (Don't get me wrong, I love Kataang and I love Airbending, but...)
Okay, so they learned the whole "you create your own destiny" thing. But were they ever really doubting that BEFORE they met the fortune teller?

I even unloaded the gun I was gonna shoot you with....The Fortune Teller was a big filler episode to me.... *notices no one has shot me yet* *relieved sigh* Good. lol It was filler indeed. I mean, I was kinda staring in awe at Aang's powerful bending for a really long time. But it still wasn't all that good. And half of the Kataang in it wasn't that good either, and I'm a rabid Kataang shipper. I think the only thing that episode did was introduce the pathetic half-Anti-Sue, Meng.
