Yes the Pale Man scene was very interesting and kind of freaky. I still feel sorry for the faries though. But I like the begining when she finds out that one of the walking sticks was actually a fariy in disquise. And yes when they killed her step-father, yah I was glad that her death was at least advenged!

I lol'd at the movie. First off, the subs were often in correct, as the Captain would say SOBs and it'd say something like "guys". XD
And I almost killed that girl when she ate the grapes. WTF...stupid girl. She got 2 fairies eaten.

I agree. Eating the grapes was a stupid move on her part. That creature that ate children scared the crap out of me...

Seriously!
If she was going to disregard all warnings and steal food from a child-eating monster, at least steal something a little more FILLING.
He had all sorts of DELICIOUS foods, and what does she risk her life for? Grapes.
...stupid plot point.

Ah but it twas the alluring temptation of food quite easily cursed with a magic spell that made it irresistable... And grapes are a healthy snack after all.
She dosen't keep that waif-like figure by wolfing down Eclairs and Cannolis ya know.

I finally got to get this on DVD this week and wow I’m so glad I did, it truly is a masterpiece, everything from the acting to the sets were just stunning. When one reviewer for this film said it was “a feast for the eyes” he got that so right!!! The guy who played the Faun and the Pale Man did it so well, he really made the character believable, like they really could exist if Fairytales were real. My rating for it would with out a doubt be a 10 out of 10!!!

I loved this movie! At first, I was scared to watch it because I heard it was sort of "scary", and I'm a big chicken who doesn't like watching scaring movies. I watched it at Midnight, and...I wasn't scared at all! It did have its violent and bloody moments but they didn't phase me as much as I thought they would.
Anyway, I loved watching it. I saw it on HBO and I borrowed it on Netflix so I can watch it again (and with my Mom, since she's interested in seeing it). What I loved the most about the movie, was the kind of "air" it gives you after you watch it, especially if you enjoy the fantasy genre. It was like, breathtaking, you know? But yeah. Loved this movie, love the soundtrack, loved it. <3
