*Chases you angrily, but then trips and falls in the sandbox* I'm telling Ms. S! *runs to Shayna* Ms. S! Ms. S! Alt pushed me in the sandbox! ...Also, Ms. S, Tungsten pulled my pigtails again. XD LIES!! One of the plot holes I noticed is Dr. Connors. He mentioned that he a physicists not a biologist yet so he wasn't able to tell Peter much about the symbiote but in the later scene he tells Peter that the suit amplifies aggression and negative energies. How the heck did he figure that out without relying on Biology?

How the heck did he figure that out without relying on Biology? Well, it's not that he didn't rely on Biology, it's that it isn't his area of expertise. But being a Physics professor, I'm sure he'd studied Biology and knew quite a bit more about it than most people. He just wasn't an expert in it. It's like... say someone's giving birth on a bus and there's no doctor around, just a Veterinarian. He's not a people doctor, it's not his are of expertise, and yet you'd rely on him to deliver the baby because he still knows more about medicine than anyone else on the bus. Same idea.

Eh but given the amount of research required to figure out the properties of the symbiote is something I believe is beyond the context of quantum physics professor. If would be like asking a Biologist to predict satalite projectory.

I think in the comic he is a biologist, otherwise how he would have been able todo the experiment that made him a lizard. I'm gonna ask my brother, he's an überfan of Spider-Man.

No, I'm pretty sure he was originally a biologist in the comics.
Dr. Connors was probably changed to a physicist to fit in with the plot of Spiderman 2, where he mentions that he's friends with Dr. Octavius and calls Dr. Octavius to tell him about his student Peter Parker; "brilliant but lazy".

You're right, he's a surgeon, and -quoting Wikipedia- he "Is highly intelligent and studied in the fields of genetics and herpetology".
Thanks for the info pal.

Saw Spiderman 3 for free tonight. And thank my lucky stars.
I'd be more ticked had I actually paid MONEY for it. Ugh. =P

Saw Spiderman 3 for free tonight. And thank my lucky stars. I'd be more ticked had I actually paid MONEY for it. Ugh. =P you mean like I am? I went to see the movie yesterday, It was entertaining but the worst out of the 3 spider-man movies in my opinion. I'll state some of the reasons where I think they failed. (I'm sorry if all these reasons have been mentioned before, but I just didn't feel like reading every post ^^; - At times the animations where terrible, for example the scene with the crane and stuff. - Even though every spider-man movie had some, and even though it's a part of the spider-man franchise in general, this one had an overkill of melo dramatics. - Where the previous two movies stayed true to the comics this one failed to do that at a lot of points, for example: Venom would never ever ever work together unless it's eddie brock who's in control over the suite, or he got forced to. And even then he would be reluctant. In this movie he went strait towards sandman. Same goes for the green goblin, he would never work together with spider-man. His hatred towards spider-man, him going crazy and everything prevented him and peter from becoming friends again in the comics. (at least the series I read) - To little venom, Venom entered the movies after about 1 hour (perhaps even later) and was beaten half an hour later. Not only that but they hardly explained a thing, it's because I've read the comics that I know why venom had spidey powers, or why he's able to block parkers spider senses. And how the hell did he know about flints child? Spider-man didn't know, and venom only transferred peter parkers memories to eddie brock. Or has venom become a mind reader? I’m sure there are more points that could be named here but these were the things that stood out the most for me. And of course things could have been done better. For example if they just had one enemy they could have had the time to explain things better and make it feel a little less rushed. But still, the movie was entertaining. grtz, Ignite EDIT: I forgot one thing! Spider-man loved by the public?! that's just not right.. I mean, one of the reasons that spider-man was different from other super heroes is that he didn't had the fame. He wasn't loved by the public, if anything he was hated by the public. They did a good job portraying that in the first 2 movies and they should have done that in this movie too. But ey that's just me.

I liked the movie but was a little disappointed in it. Parker's 'going evil' was just a bit too overdone.
