Emo Peter was fun, but, why they made him act like that with the symbiot? I knew that it was gonna make him a jerk, not a mentally challenged person -though the dancing was fun-
There's not enough Venom, he could have been such a cool villain in this film. Topher Grace was so underused.

So are there going to be anymore, or will it end with a dissapointing final installment like so many other trilogies?

^This is the last one, or so they say. Some Spoilers..... I have heard numerous times there will be 6 total Spiderman movies. Spiderman 3 was incredibly good but the ending was just depressing and horrible. Harry was scarred by Peter when he was Venom Spiderman and then he sacrificed his life at the end for Peter when Venom (Eddie Brock) tried to stab him with Harry's special glider. Harry died and Venom was blown up. Peter forgave Sandman for accidently killing his uncle Ben and that was it. I wonder how Carnage will be brought into the next movies and I doubt Venom is really dead. The movie was fantastic except for the ending. I would give it a 9/10 because they killed off Harry Osborn.

I think out of all the villains, I always got really emotional when they had Sandman on (IMSUCHADORK). His background just depressed me like...his kid was dieing...and he didn't know what to do...and just...*sad*
I was really upset when Harry died though. Playing the villain, or hero, he was excellent. At least SOMEONE killed Eddie Brock *stabs* now, don't get me wrong, I love Venom, but I've never liked Eddie. He just annoyed me...

Ha, I went to see it yesterday, thinking it wouldn't be so packed. We arrived at the theater at 8:20 PM, going for a 8:45 movie, (getting there early to get good seats) when we find out that all the tickets were sold out and the earliest movie available was at 9:45!!! Couldn't believe how popular it was. Well, I can't believe that critics were so harsh towards the movie. I also noticed that the movie didn't get a really loud applause in the end. Hey, at least it was better than POTC 2 people (seriously, the only reason people like POTC is Jack Sparrow, without him, it's nothing)! Sure it's a little cheesy at bits but it's an awesome movie! Excellent computer graphics and fight scenes, Peter's character is still interesting, some scenes were irrelevent and a lot of characters were extremely calm during the scenes where people falling off of buildings... but Harry was the best (even though he's a villian). The ending was very emotional, (I'm such a sap) and I almost cried. I did cry. & my friends (I was with an all guy but me group) kept making fun of me. According to Internet Movie Database, there will at least be a fourth one. SPOILERS I LOVED IT! My mind is still reeling. I hated seeing Harry die. Friendship is a big thing with me. I loved what he did so much. & anyways, I love Tobey Maquire. He's such a good actor. & he's in my icon. Spiderbiscuit rules!

On a side note, any one else see that "across the universe" trailer before the movie? Looks a lot like the Beatles are trying to pull off "the Wall" that pink floyd did...it looks interesting though.

The man was at the end of it. I'm not seeing that one. But I did like S3 EDIT: Kaneda: Sam Raimi did 1 & 2 though, I didn't want venom either. Critics can be idiots, and they pull off the two villains thing well. 3 1/2 stars.

Six movies? Then why is Sam Raimi saying that this is the last one? Anyway. You never know what's gonna happen in Hollywood, and as long they do a good movie, I guess is okay.
SPOILERS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Harry died in the comics, they had to kill him here too.

Spoiler Rant . . . . . . .
Spider-Man 3 really lacked the solid writing that made SM 2 the best super hero movie I have every seen. The dialogue was cruddy (the second fight between Harry and Peter) and the transitions of scenes just felt jagged. They had to rely too much on deux ex machina to get the ball rolling for the next scene (can anyone say random butler). The Sandman story was lame, with retroactive involving him to Uncle Ben's murder to his bipolar personality from caring father to psychotic monster. Venom just shouldn't have been added to the Spider-Man movies in the first place (and I pray to god they will never add Carnage). But on the up-side Bruce Cambell was hilarious and essentially stole the scene he was in.

I am sorry to say this but Venom appears to be returning for the 4th installment....So looks like Carnage will have to come as well sooner or later. quote: The big surprise in the FoxNews.com report is word that one character who appears to die in Spidey 3 might return for Spidey 4. "It turns out I may not be completely dead," the unnamed actor who plays the unspecified character revealed. movies.ign.com/articles/784/784823p1.html
