I don't think Sasuke will kill Itachi right now. It goes with the storyline too much and seems a little too obvious maybe Itachi will commit suicide or be killed by the tailed beast statue going crazy....

Yeah, I have to say my favorite member is either Itachi or the Akatsuki leader because he looks deadly....and is a mystery. Yeah...and the fact he COULD be Yondaime... How do you guys think the remaining Akatsuki members will be taken down? I'm hoping Gai Sensei takes Kisame down and Kisame's sword chooses Gai to be its new master Stupid 2-timeing sword... Me too... but then again I can see Gai doing alot of things... (daydreams) Like...what...? 0.0; That would be ironic...

Here is a super awesome Akatsuki theory that some guy wrote on some website.
It is common knowledge by any avid reader/watcher of the Naruto series that the Fourth Hokage sealed the Kyuubi into Naruto when he was born. Also, it is widely known (but not noticed) that before he died Yondaime stated about Naruto "This boy should be remembered not as the monster he holds, but as the hero that saved the village" (or something along those lines). I would think that most parents would not let even the Hokage implant the monster that had killed many in their village inside their newborn child... except the one doing the sealing. Also, I would not think that Yondaime would fret so much about Naruto being an outcast with the Kyuubi within him if he was someone else's kid. This on it's own is revealing information, but combined with what I know about the Akatsuki leader and what Akatsuki wants, it makes a terrifying argument. First off, I've been told that the Akatsuki wants all the Bijyuu's, the Kyuubi being one of them. I also believe these are referred to as jinchuuriki (I have not read much if any of the manga, I normally watch the Japanese episodes of the T.V. show all this information is from reliable friends who read the manga) of which a few of the Akatsuki have one. My theory is that when the Kyuubi was sealed it was put inside Arashi not Naruto. I also believe that the Kyuubi was too strong to seal in one body so either it was sealed in Naruto first and Arashi took the overflow, or Arashi sealed it in himself and overflowed it into Naruto. I an avid believer that it is the second option. After his death you believe that the Kyuubi was able to break the seal with its tremendous power (much like the Kyuubi can release some chakra for Naruto's use because the seal is weakened) and took over Arashi's body. This would perfectly explain why the Akatsuki leader looks exactly like Arashi does with a big a** neckband and only silhouetted but with red eyes. People use the red eyes as evidence that he is not the leader, but if Naruto's eyes turn red after using the Kyuubi's chakra it would make sense that if the Kyuubi took over Arashi's body his eyes would be red. To further prove my theory that part of the Kyuubi was split between the bodies, I would like to use how the Third Hokage died. He died by using the fujin (I believe that's how it is spelled) jutsu, the same one used to seal the Kyuubi, to seal Orochimaru's arms in his body. He sealed them in his own body though. If Arashi was Naruto's father or good-hearted enough to want the Kyuubi-sealed child to be considered as a hero then why would he not seal the Kyuubi in his own body like the third did with Orochimaru's arms and save him the trouble in the first place? I believe that this further proves the hidden agenda of Yondaime because he wanted a body from which he could take the Kyuubi out of and make it whole again. As i said before, all of this is just a theory based strongly on facts that I and many trustworthy friends have found and compiled.

That is the most wack idea I have ever read. I doubt the Nine Tailed Fox was split into two seperate bodies.

It makes a lot of sense to me. I think it's actually a really good theory. It explains why the Akatsuki leader looks so much like Yondaime.

It kind of just seems wrong to me because when Naruto talks to the Nine Tailed Fox while inside himself you see the entire fox is sealed behind gates and it is not like half of him is there. Plus, Naruto has never used his full power before so it is not that he does not have all the fox's power but he just has not used it yet.

The main problem I have against that splitting of nine tail fox charkra is there has been no proof or hint supporting it. Any good writer would hint something as big as that throughout the storyline. Avatar does this as well as various other shows. Good writers don't let huge revelations like these come from completely out of nowhere, they subtly hint it before it happens. This theory really has no such basis within the manga of the show.
I agree with the Fourth being Naruto Dad, because it has been hinted throughout the series. It also makes sense of why Naruto was chosen to be the vessel. But the whole sealing split and the fourth being the leader of Akatsuki is just too random. Again I will say it does nothing for the story, and would only serve as shock value. It also demeans the sacrifice that the fourth made to save the village.
Also doesn't the user of the sealing jutsu die after he uses it? My guess of why the nine-tail fox spirit is in Naruto is that the Reaper was unable to seal a tailed beast like it can do with human souls. There is no guarantee that the reaper could prevent the tailed beast from escaping. By sealing the spirit within Naruto he is assuring that it stays sealed.

I like the theory, but am also not sure it is correct, but you have to admit it does explain some stuff. but who knows?! The story can come from anywhere at this point in the serese. Yondaime could be the Leader, or he could not. It could do almost anything.
