You heard me! Just check out these vintage anti-piracy ads from the UK. They properly instruct you on turning in your friends, family, neighbors, teachers, coworkers, clergymen, random strangers, pets, and yes... had these been around in the modern era I'm sure they'd prompt you go all Nazi informer on your forum buddies as well. And for what? A sweet 1000 pounds sterling. Jolly good ol' chum! And the most inspiring one of all: That's right! How dare that old rotter Mr. Jones teach them Maths AND copy software. I hope that Bobby throws the git cold in the nick. He deserves nothing less than a good bollock for filching that software! XD Source: www.worldofstuart.excellentcontent.com/antipiracy.htm?

Are these legit, Coppa? I know the Brit's were not too fond of piracy, but they general had a passive approach in dealing with it. I'm actually shocked, if these are real.
Harrrrr!

hahah I'm pretty sure those are real..... We have tons of stuff like that.... We even use that kinda comic format today.... LOL The funniest one ever was a contreceptive one in the same kinda style hahha....... Our public awarness videos r hilarious too....... shock tactics....
My primary school life was filled with the horrors of being made to watch videos about kids being killed by tractors and caves collapsing and being electricuted.... We had to go to roadshows to teach us about how how everything in ur house is dangerous and we all gonna die if we go withing 100 miles of house ... hahahahha damm 1970s shock tactics...
So in the USA r they not as bothered about pirating?

^"Or you'll never live to play with that toy again". Wow, what a nice thing to say. I would've been in the same room as AC. That video would have freaked me out. I would've never played Frisbee or with fireworks for the rest of my life.

LOL I don't think Charlie the Cat really cared if he went with strangers or not... He just didn't want the kid bringing home any puppies. Why is it the weasel who has to get hit by the car? That so species-ist. Oh WOW. XD But see? That's the effective difference in the UK! They actually show the consequences of what can happen. Not in the US. We get all kinds of cutesy-fun characters tellingus not do things when often, they themselves are what we're supposed to be avoiding. Like this pill-bottle man: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObGux27L76o&feature=relatedI mean just look at this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbCI81kp0tI&feature=relatedHeck, if drinking poison means I get to join a groovy show choir ensemble- I'm game! Of course anyone form my generation will remember Mr. Yuk the poison warning sticker. He'd stop me for sure right? www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVU6uTADf9wAt least we get to see a cartoon of a kid holding his stomach in pain in that one. XD I'll save you a section of flooring!

Burt the Turtle, Telling you to duck and cover when a Nuke goes off...right... my Dad told me that he remembers watching that in school and they bought the whole spheel it hook line and sinker. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_tKAg5KIuQ&feature=related

I remember watching one about scuba diving... About how, if you rise to quickly without breathing out, your lungs'll explode. I never ever want to go scuba diving.
