^ Yes they are. And the style for the DS game is going to be based on the Chibi Shorts style. So all cute like that.

Well, that might have something to it. However, I have talked to some of my gamer buds, the game looks to just be a third season rehash of the first and second. It makes you wonder what the game would be like if a studio such as Infinity Ward Or Pandemic could do with the material.

^look on page one.
With all the spoilers and the possibilities of some "free-lance" story-creating, I wonder if the game might screw up oru perception of what's to come or help us.

Is there any news about it on Xbox360? Because the second game was on it.

The first game was RPG style and dull, I really think THQ must not have known what a great brand they had and did what they do with most Nick games... low budget/low quality. The second (The Burning Earth) was 'whack, whack, whack, whack' with a few lame puzzles but prettier. I much preferred the "beat 'em up" style compared to the RPG. Still it seemed on the 360 it was the same game as the PS2 and Wii, hinting at the 'make one game for all' and save money attitude. Think about this, the lowest quality is going to be PS2 so thats what it looked like and played like on Wii and 360. In this trailer (Into the Inferno) the Wii controller bending the elements has got my attention, that could make for some cool puzzles and it looks MUCH nicer graphically. Hand to hand fighting is still there for the 'whack' factor. IGN indicates an October 2008 release date which means at the time of the trailer (May) there was still 3-4 months of development to go. (and it looks in a pretty good state!) I own a 360 & PS2 (no Wii) but this may change that. And I want to play Super Mario Galaxy anyway!

Well the trailer has Wii controllers right through it! So yeah:) au.wii.ign.com/articles/864/864413p1.htmlQuote from IGN: "The title is once again being developed by THQ Australia and will ship for Wii, PlayStation 2 and DS this October. This time around, the studio has really focused on the Wii iteration, though, tailoring controls to take advantage of the remote's pointer functionality. Watch the video below to see for yourself what we're talking about." No mention of xbox360 or PS3... stands to reason... not really the market for it.

Another Burning Earth. Great. Where is the originality instead of just a re-harsh that were getting with Shyamalan's films anyways? I haven't even beat the first one, but beat the second one with ease.
The reason I haven't beaten the first one yet is because I lost everything and had to start over. But quiet frankly, I am beginning to want to buy it for the Wii seeing how the graphics look shaper. But I might try to beat it on PS2 first and have it on Wii as a collector's item.
What happened to the original storyline of machines replacing benders? The machines were awesome.

Seeing as my Avatar craze has recently come back, I'll probably get it. Anything to have more Avatar in my life. ><
