"I'm thinkin' maybe we could... do an activity [together]?" Two new activity-books are coming out in May... the same day The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale Of Aang is to be released, unless something changes. That date is May 8th. Air Power!: It's hard to keep a low profile when you're the greatest Airbender in the world, as Aang learns when he tries to relax on Kyoshi island, but gets unexpected attention from fans and foes alike. Fellow benders can distinguish themselves with the tattoos in this book as they complete the pages of brainteasers and puzzles that unravel the mysteries of the island. The New Master: In Nickelodeon's new fantasy series Avatar: The Last Airbender , the world is at war and a young boy named Aang might be the only hope for peace -- if he and his friends Katara and Sokka can escape the evil Fire Nation. This 96-page activity book is chock-full of puzzles and games that will have fans walking on air as they join in Aang's challenges and adventures. The Season One-centric covers ( look at Katara and Sokka's clothing ) are a bit unnerving, though. I would keel over if these books didn't include the characters and scenes from Season Two. Why the reluctance to make S-2 merchandise? Hopefully, Zuko will have different hair in The New Master, at the very least. Sadly, the summaries are so vague about the content. Anyway, these books should help a bit with AWS.

So the first one comes out next week... ;D The Azula one should be interesting. Wonder if they're supposed to be canon?

Toph's Chronicle has a cover pic now: Still no mention of Zuko and Katara getting a book though...

Bumping this thread up for current consumption. ;D So this book, The Tale of Aang, is due out in a week, on May 8th (and thanks to avaspaz for bringing this to our attention originally). Look for it at your local booksellers! Or you can buy them for $5.99 at amazon and have the Aang one delivered by May 3. Purchasing info: amazon LinkBlurb: "I'm Aang -- and this is the tale of my journey through the Earth Kingdom. I traveled there with my friends Katara and Sokka to find an Earthbending teacher. I'm not sure why, but we ran into trouble almost everywhere we went. We got chased by Prince Zuko's sister, Azula, and got caught in a sinking library. Did I mention that Appa got kidnapped by Sandbenders? There were definitely some scary moments...but I can't complain about getting stuck in the Cave of Two Lovers with Katara! All in a day's work for the Avatar, right?" Next is The Tale of Azula, with an expected release date of June 6th: Purchasing info: amazon LinkBlurb: "I am Azula, daughter of Fire Lord Ozai, and l plan to one day rule the Fire Nation -- and the world. But first l have to deal with my good-for-nothing brother, Prince Zuko. Well, he was good for nothing, until he led me to the Avatar! l headed to the Earth Kingdom, where, with the help of Mai and Ty Lee, we tracked down the Avatar and his ragtag band. l engaged in a fierce battle with the Avatar himself! l lost that fight, but he should be forewarned: He has not seen the last of Princess Azula." Looking forward to these!

At least we'll have something Avatar related to look at until season three comes out. I'm not sure about the Azula one though. I don't see her admitting that anyone helped her out or that she lost a fight.

I can't wait! At least we'll get SOMETHING before the new season comes out. I can't wait for the Sokka book, I bet it'll make me laugh! And I really hope they do an Iroh and a Zuko! It would be weird not to have those two, I mean since they have a huge fanbase and all. I showed the covers to my little brother, and he's excited too. More to add to the collection!

I actually got the Aang book yesterday! I was surprised when I found it in Barnes & Nobles. The book basically recaps the episodes of book 2 from Aang's pov, so I'm guessing the other books will do the same except for their respected characters. The Aang book is SO cute. Aang lovers will enjoy it, and Kataangians as well.

^ You did? Great ~ I was hoping someone who got it early would post and let us know how it was. At this point, I'm just excited about anything new coming out. Plus, it will help people who aren't rabid DHians to keep up their interest in the show until fall.
So tell me, Melis, I'm dying to know. . . does the book actually say what happened in the cave?! ;D
