Based on the trailer...I'm none too excited. It just looks like a recap of Book 2.
Darn. At least there were some changes.

My little brother is very excited about this game. Unfortunatley, he was told he had to wait until Christmas to get it, and that was if he got it. I love watching him play because he gets so into it. Has anyone played it yet? Just want to know if it is worth my brother getting all worked up about.

If it has Toph in it (and no Haru) then it is a MAJOR improvement over the last game in my book.

It doesn't appear to be out for GBA or DS yet, that makes me sad, my 2 favorite systems.

I was looking at the site, and noticed something... Zuko's picture looks really good. For once, Season 1 Zuzu looks okay. Though WHY they have a picture of S1 Zuko in a game with Season 2 is beyond me...

I might rent this...but I have to agree, I'm probably better off keeping my expectations low. Although, how much do you want to bet they come out with an Avatar game of much higher quality when the movie comes out?

I'm trying to find it. I hope it's not like the DS where it seemed to be sold out in every videogame store possible. But still...I want someone to play it so they can tell me how the Arena mode is like and how the story and stuff is!

I went out and bought the game. The thing is , I only have a PS2, so I have no idea how much better it would be for better systems. However, the game is a bit oversimplified, combos for each charecter are the same. It is two player, all the way through, but in one player mode, you can choose who you want to be, like the first game.
This game does seem a lot cleaner than the first game, but already found a bug. I jumped off a log and couldn't get off, had to reset the game. I hate that.
The fighting does seem pretty good, with any game, getting used to how to manipulate, it does seem fairly responsive.
The nice thing about this game, is it actually does stick to the story line somewhat , and that makes it better than the first game, hands down. There don't seems to be armor upgrades and amulets and gloves and boots to upgrade, and that is too bad, but I just started playing, so I am unsure about that stuff, but there is none of that in the cartoon, so it is more, well, true to the cartoon.
