What if Katara was "evil"?

If that were an actual fanfiction, then I would have chewed you out over the grammatical and spelling errors, but this isn't the place. I like the idea, however, especially the last two sentences: "I stared at Katara and was scared of her. This wasn't my little sister, it couldn't be."

Just one thing, why would Katara risk being the Gaang's capture for purely aesthetic reasons? (She even changed her clothes into pure white, the color of mourning.) I know she's mourning, but still, Azula would most likely have people searching for the Avatar in many villages, and I doubt that she would have the resources to do it herself, or the money to waste on it. Sorry, I know it's just one little detail, but I can't help but nitpick.

I apologize for my grammarical and spelling errors,I was not thinking. Concerning your second idea, I was trying to use aesthetic qualities to represent a deeper change. I know Katara would never seriously become evil, but I was interested in what path could possibly cause her to change.

As far as Azula, she's not the only person who knows about the avatar,the whole nation and all it's forces would be searching.
I am ,however,glad that at least the idea was good in your eyes.

Katara being evil... I can't see it. She's always the sweet, motherly one. Her being evil just isn't right. Katara evil sounds like something from a bad fanfic.

An evil katara sound more like something in a soap oprea...I can't really picture it cause the we seen how good she can be but it you are a loyal fire nation...I can see that she can be "Evil"

Or, Katara could have an evil twin sister. That's pretty much the same as her turning evil, only even more lame and like a daytime soap opera.

Yep, the whole evil sibling/clone thing is way overdone. Jimmy Neutron already has the evil Jimmy Clone going on. Avatar must not be affected by this.

I think the closest we ever will get to Katara being mean is what she said to Toph in The Chase about the stars.

if chatara was to go evil it would probably be like anikin skywalkers (from star wars) turn to the dark side..i.e one thing leading to another..she would probably turn to anger and rage to sav someone she loved i.e aang, sokka her people etc..then she would proably keep tapping into this emotion untill it bacame uncontrollable....
oh and about the ice/ water thing...water bending is based on the martial art of Tai Chi, so the water resembles the flowing soft aspects of the art whearas ice represent the hard, destructivness of the art

first of all it wouldn't be katara anymore because she's such a good person in ATLA
and i think aang would be totally doomed if he just found out... if she was bad at the beginning already she'd free him out of the rock and then grab sokka's boomerang to kill aang

If Katara was evil then if in some way she joins Azula they'd end up ruling the entire world but then try to kill each other after. Goodness, talk about run on sentence.

Katara's scary enough as a ticked-off good person. I can't even imagine an evil Katara...
I suppose it would be funny though, 'cause Aang wouldn't want to fight her. He loves her too much XD

Seriously, though, the show wouldn't be the same if Katara was evil. I know some people don't, but I admire her caring/motherly spirit, and I think that to change that would change the show for the worse.

Katara is Aangs main support. Actually, Katara is the Gaang's support person-ish thing. The whole group would probably be different if Katara was evil. But, if Katara was evil from the very beginning Aang wouldn't have a crush on her.
