we don't know if Aang can go into the avatar state again (although it is obvious he will It's one-hundred percent true that Aang has reclaimed the Avatar State. That was the whole point of The Escape from the Spirit World game. If he was unable to go back into the Avatar State in the show, I highly doubt the Avatar staff would put so much effort into a game that makes it apparent that the Avatar State is intact. I don't know if it's still up but you may still be able to play it here: Avatarescape.com

After watching them both again I can't decide which one I like better. I really like the huge Koi fish that Aang creates in the first one but I also love the stuff that happens in the second one. I like them both.

I liked the first one. I loved the character development in the second one, but I like the first one slightly better.

The first one had the water tribe, which was beautiful, and all the stuff with the spirits was so mystical and awesome. And the crazy amazing spirit attack on the fire nation was pretty sweet. In the first finale you feel very... fulfilled. Especially how Iroh ends with "A man needs his rest", which he said on the first episode.
The second finale was pretty sweet, too. I really like Ba Sing Se, the fact that the magnificent city had its faults, and how serious it was. I thought the Dai Li Agents were a pretty neat part of the plot. The development got me realizing the main points and positions of the characters; what Aang needed to learn. One reason it didn't feel so fulfilling was because Ba Sing Se was taken over. But that makes it so much more exciting.
I don't think I can pick between them, they're both so brilliant. :}

find it funny that alot people don't like the final season two cause of the "cliff-hanger" but look at it again...the only cliffhanger was where were the gang going. which was the same as in season one when you saw who Zuko Sister....the story was reslove Actually there are major ones: The one you posted We don't know how Aang is doing we don't know what happened to Iroh We don't know Zukos true motives(cause some people say its a plan) we don't know what happened to Suki we don't know if Aang can go into the avatar state again (although it is obvious he will ) We don't know how much Kataras and Zukos relationship was affected (*cough* I'm Zutarian *cough*) we don't know how Sokas dad is (not that important but still) and maybe more those question a side...the story was complete and it did have an ending then just a pause and loud music is added with the words To Be Continue. I'm pretty sure there where question being ask in the end of season one but the whole story as in the just that episode or chapter was complete at least.

Book 2 was good! Although it ended too . . . weakly . . . is that the word I'm looking for. It didn't end the book it just kind of left a cliff hanger and it kind of annoyed me with Zuko.

I loved both finales. Both ended with my fave character--Azula. But I liked the Season 2 Finale so much better.
Season 1 Finale revealed too much about what was happening. Season 2 Finakle was a huge cliffhanger. I jus love when I'm left wanting more. It makes seeing it so much more important.

I definitely prefer the finale of season 2... judging by the fact that I've watched it over 25 times already and I merely watched the finale of season 1 over 6-7 times.

Season One for me. I didn't care for "The Guru," and fight scenes don't really do it for me, which was what most of "The Crossroads of Destiny" was.
