Just thought it was sweet when Sokka carried Toph off at the end of the episode. Hoping Sokka gets jealous of her and Zuko's friendship.

I love all these Tokka interactions and bits in S3. ♥ She just fitted in his arms so perfectly, didn't you think so?  I would like to point out that katara does NOT feel personally betrayed by Zuko... this episode was the first time that katara has talked about what happened in COD with zuko... and ya know what, it was just like the death threat. all about aang. she was talking about how she thought that Zuko was just trying to make her feel bad for him so he could get at aang. so she feels that if she trusts, or feels sorry for zuko again, that aang will get hurt... Well, that is what I basically said in my Kataang part. |

Well what about sokka i know that he probaley has a hunch about kataang remeber in "the fortune teller"? he could talk to sokka

I loved Katara's death threat, though I don't want her to go through with it. Let's hope Zuko doesn't make her mad, escpecially if it's a full moon because she would bloodbend again in that situation. But then again, I sort of want to see that... Sorry off topic.
I'm a neutral multishipper, so I loved this episode. Zuko with the Gaang is great, I hope that they warm up to him... (is that a pun?) Right now his best friendship is with Appa. For some reason I find it really funny.
My favorite shippy scenes in this episode was Tokka with Toko in close second.

Anyway I just wanted to say that Katara's death threat was the best indirect Kataang moment ever. Now if only Aang and Katara would get around to talking about their kiss... Yeah, I was a bit disappointed that the kiss wasn't touched upon at all in the episode. Of course, a lot of things did happen, but still. Maybe Katara and Aang could talk about it next episode? Someone came up with this one scenario that I thought was pretty interesting. Here it is! "Zuko and Aang begin their fire bending training with some comical results. ("Well, I've- never really taught anyone before... Umm... What would Uncle say? Ah! 'Avatar, remember that fire bending comes from the breath. As you exhale, the chi extends past your fist and becomes the flame.'") But there's no laughing matter with Katara's malicious presence whittling away at Zuko's confidence and his nerves causing more than a few mishaps. Finally snapping, everyone is shocked when Aang tells Katara to back off. A fight breaks out between the two that goes into the two resorting to their bending skills, attempts by onlookers to quell the violence before it gets out hand only results in them nearly getting caught in the crossfire. Blind with a pent up frustration and rage at the other's faults, Aang and Katara's fight sends them over the cliff and into the canyon below. Katara awakes to Aang sobbing apologies to her and asking her to wake up and the two begin to go over everything that's been bothering them (kiss included) and come to a closer understanding of each other before being rescued from the canyon floor." What does everyone else think? |

Aang's not the kind of guy to resort to violence out of anger like that. It just isn't in him to attack her for no good reason.

Could you guys imagine if she did use bloodbending on Zuko? Then she was so caught up in her fury that when Aang, Sokka and Toph tried to stop her she would just use it on them too? That would be crazy... I'm kind of hoping that happens now! And your right Kohana, Toph fit perfectly! |

Jet, that was a personal betrayal, but in katara's mind. COD was all about her softness almost getting aang killed. This makes me wonder if Katara and Aang are already in a relationship but it's not being shown yet. It makes me think about how Zuko and Mai came to be in a relationship right out of the blue. But I think I'd like a confession to come between Katara and Aang rather then them being in a relationship without our awareness of it. The last scene when Katara was talking to Zuko kind of makes me think of how it would be if she was in a romantic relationship with Aang. It makes me think of how her reaction would be if some girl was flirting with Aang. She would probably get as angry as that. Heh..heh...well maybe. Just a thought. P.S. Zuko knows katara has something for aang now. zuko knows that "thing" is going to get him killed if there is a training accident between him and aang. zuko will tell aang that they need to train away from katara, and he will have to explain why. ... ya, thats right. zuko is going to advance kataang. and as firebending is all about confronting your emotions, i can see it coming out during a training session and zuko trying to give aang lady advice.... abit specific, and im not saying it WILL happen, but if aang wants to talk to someone in the group, i think he would be most willing to talk to zuko about it. It would be interesting to see Zuko telling Aang that he knows that he has a thing for Katara and that Katara has feelings for him. And then Zuko would give Aang some advice and tell him about Mai.  I mean, after seeing how angry Katara was if he hurts Aang, it is possible that Zuko knows Katara's feelings for Aang, how much Aang means to her. So it may be possible that he will bring it up. Maybe when he and Katara are okay with eachother, Zuko might tell her to tell Aang about her feelings or tell Aang to tell Katara about his feelings (Although Aang's feelings is already out in the open and Katara knows about it. I doubt that Katara could forget that. I mean, if someone kissed you, you wouldn't forget it the next day would you?). Who knows if this may happen. |

I can see them get in an arguement, but actually fight as in bend. Just no. Neither Aang or Katara could do that to each other; it goes completely against how their characters and relationship has been established.

Yice, outcast: Very true, but the whole cliffside confession is likeable enough. Well, to me, anyway. Zuko giving Aang romance advice? "Tell her you don't hate her." >.< Yeah, I don't think Zuko is exactly suave enough to hand out advice, even if he does/did have a girlfriend. x.x I think Aang would be able to handle his own by now. |

Zuko giving Aang romance advice? "Tell her you don't hate her." >.< Ha ha ha! That made me laugh! I almost forgot about how he spoke to Mai in a romantic situation. Wasn't that in the Headband? That would be terrible advice if Zuko gives Aang romantic advice in the future! He might give Aang advice but hopefully not that! Ha ha ha! So funny! I'm falling off my chair! |

I see Zuko as being the way for Katara to finally open up to Aang about what she feels for him. I can totally see her continuing to be mean to Zuko, for Aang to ask her why she can't learn to trust him and that he needs her to because he needs to learn firebending, etc., and for her to finally break down and admit that she can't bear to lose him again because she does feel something more for him.
