New Korra Ranks Poll

With a new show comes new sprites, and new sprites mean new forum posting ranks. Well, maybe. We the Staff aren't sure where to put the new ranks, so we would like your input! After all, it's you guys who'll be using them.

I can't say how many new sprite/ranks there'll be until the show airs, but I estimate there would be at least 10. So, keep that in mind as you think about where to place them?

In addition, any change to the ranks list will mean that some members will either go up to new ranks, or back down to previous ranks, so feel free to rant about that here.

I think they should be near the beginning or spread throughout. I can't decide though because we haven't met any of the characters. If they're not as loved as A:TLA then I say near the beginning, but if most people love them, then spreading them out equally with the current ones is fine. But really, as long as I don't skip the Fiery Ozai rank, I'm cool with whatever.

I also say they should be spread throughout. Depending who or what-all makes it into Legend of Korra, have them be the earlier of the Legend of Korra ranks, leading up to Korra herself as the last of that show's sprites.

Thanks for all the votes and suggestions so far, guys! I really appreciate it. I hear ya on having them spread out, it certainly seems the most reasonable.

Having Korra's sprite be the last of the LoK ranks is interesting, as is the Fire Lords rank. I still think the Avatars rank should be last though, so maybe I'll push them up to 20k or something so you'll still end up with the old Fire Lords. _{Although, the ranks could just start over again, instead of having a static end...}

The Avatars love to go penguin sledding, after all, so it all connects! There could even be a gold star next to the repeat ranks to show they're a step above the regular ranks.

...... Of course, that'd also mean I'd have to edit and type in over a hundred ranks, so uh.... never mind. ^^;

You should definitely spread them all the way throughout the ranks, so both new comers and oldies will get their Korra fix =)

Setting this on Announcement for now, since there are new Korra sprites to show as examples, and more poll input is always appreciated. <3 _{And also 'cause I can't add these to the website until I make the new sprite-site layout. ;_;}



In addition to these there will be potentially at least nine more sets added -- Tenzin's family (4), the Metalbending Cop uniform, Korra's winter coat, and Korra/Mako/Bolin's red Pro-bending uniform.

Which makes a total of 18..... so, if it's spread out throughout the ranks, it would be one Korra sprite after each major ranking group (like the DOBS set, FN Disguise set, etc), or every 500-800 posts or so. The order the sprites go in, though, haven't decided that yet.

Now Tenzin's kids on the other hand, they're definitely going to just be Aang with different hairstyles. But there's only so much you can do when 80% is identical.

I vote for this opinion as well. I would love to have the sprites spread out and mostly so I can gush over Naga and the fire ferret (which I completely forgot its name) ^^()
