Why do we need them?
What makes them special?
Why have one if they'll make you sound dumb?
Thus the reason I stripped myself of such privileges.

So you have no way of thinking? You just kind of go..? To me opinion = my life, I can't have my life without my own way of thinking.. How can you make decisions without having an opinion. Impossible, it's human nature.

Well it's your opinion that we shouldn't have opinions. And it's pretty much everyone else's opinion that we should. So this doesn't work either way.

Well it's your opinion that we shouldn't have opinions. It's not an opinion, notice how I made sure to post in questions and a fact about myself?

Human minds are unique, we each have our own way of viewing the world, partly based on our experiences from our environment, the people around us, and our own personal traits.
There are many common opinions, like, "Blue is my favorite color" or "I like this style of music," but the more nuanced it gets, the more individual it becomes.
As for stripping yourself of all opinions... congrats on becoming a robot? Honestly I'm not sure how one can function without opinions, even if all of them are subconscious. How do you choose what to have for breakfast? Or what to wear? Or which route to take where ever you may go, whether it's to the kitchen or out somewhere?
In my opinion, behavioral preferences count as a type of opinion because we choose how to do things for a reason, even if we're not aware of it. Even if everything you choose is "because it's within reach" it might not be wrong to say, "my opinion is, if it's too far away, it's not worth the effort."

This, right here, is an opinion. So you do have one! (Even if you phrased it as a question, "dumb" is a subjective concept, so in your opinion, some opinions make people sound dumb.)
