How well do we know our fellow DH members? Whether close friends, quiet lurkers, or somewhere in the middle, as a whole there's a lot we don't know. This thread is to encourage sharing a part of our lives by photographing something in our surroundings. Nothing is too trivial, and you can post as many photos as you like. (although if it's more than 3, use links to save on page scrolling please.) And of course, don't post anything too personal/private info-like, like your mailbox address. Anyway, I guess I'll go first? This is my pet gecko, Rex. He lives on the outside porch, but he's been pretty friendly to my family for the past 2-3 years. He'll hop on our hands or feet for a little ride, and we'll give him any small bugs that we find or bits of chicken. He is also actually a she, but we refer to him as a boy anyway. I don't think it bothers him. ^^; Your turn!

Aww he's so cute! I wish we had animals like that where I am. We just get crows, robins, turkeys and rabbits. This is a table in our living room. In the middle is my spider plant (named Planty ). My field hockey coach gave each of us a plant my freshman year. Planty has since grown a lot and been repotted in a HUGE pot. Around Planty are all the pieces I made in Ceramics this year. I really loved that class and want to take Ceramics II next year. My favorite is the yellow vase to the left of Planty.

I have a dog named Jojo. My little brother named him. He's a maltese, a little over a year old, and loves playing fetch. He also sleeps on my parents bed at their feet.

Buried little bits of him over a bare stretch of desert sand.
Coyotes probably dug some of him up by now, but I don't think they'd ever find the spot it's so remote.

Fact: ehh I tried cutting my own fringe today because I'm too cheap to go to the hairdressers.

^ Me TOOOOOOO. Hi-loh! I'm Sakura~chan-chan-chan, but you can call me Sakura, or Kura-tan, or any one of the other ridiculous nicknames I have on here. I'm an apiring singer/voice actor/SNL reg, I'm paranoid (( somehow I get the feeling nobody on here likes me...XD )). I love lotsa anime, but my favortie is Hagane no Rekinjutsushi. I just, once again, got into making icons on my banana-coloured laptop and I daresay they're getting better. Yah-hoh!

Hi, I'm Ardor. I'm one of those quiet lurkers. *wave* In less than a month I'll be moving into my new dorm/apartment at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco... will be majoring in photography there for the next three years and will be playing softball there as well. And yes, an art school with a softball. Freaking out... just a bit. www.academyartathletics.com/news/2009/7/7/SB_0707095533.aspxAnd something totally of a new subject. I was the one responsible for this theme in this yearbook we got in my senior year of oh so lovely high school. Just look at it. The editors knew exactly where my pitch was coming from, but if only the rest of the school knew... XD
